Rip off -- just smells like detergent
Today was another unfortunate lesson in listening to my instincts the first time. I opened the bag and it smelled like detergent. Some of you can guess the rest of the story from here, and I wouldn't blame you for stopping now. I wish I had.I thought maybe it was just the combination of eucalyptus and mint with lavender... so I opened a lavender to smell it by itself. It still smelled overpoweringly like soap, but I figured eh, maybe it was just too concentrated? It would probably mellow out in the shower.I looked at the bag and saw a bunch of warnings about not making skin contact. Kind of weird for something made of essential oils, no? But what do I know? It was my first bag of steamers. And I mean, there's no WAY anyone just pressed a bunch of detergent into bars, stuck a few lavender petals on top, and sold it, right? RIGHT?!I had a (very) crummy day today, so I decided to test one out. I thought it would be nice to de-stress with a bougie, steamy lavender shower. But alas. Instead of a relaxing, spa-like escape, my olfactory senses were met - nay, assaulted! - in the way I can only imagine falling face-first into a bottle of Tide would feel like.Tl;dr - If you've always wondered how it would smell to dry out a bottle of Downy and snort the resulting powder, look no further.

Okay
I bought these to add to a girls night out gift bag. They smelled really good when I first opened the package, but the smell really didn’t last long. Also, on about 25% of them, the back of the package was open. Not very nice looking when giving as a gift. Haven’t used one yet, so I can’t comment on how they will do in the shower.

Perfect Obligatory gift
Mixed review. DONT buy for your bougie girl friend. This is the kind of add on gift you give to that aunt who buys her cosmetics at a Walmart/ target. It serves the purpose of providing a cheap gift that says “treat your self.” It will make a mess in your tub if used wrong. It looks like chalk. But if the point is to make someone feel like they are treating them self, this will do the trick. This reminds me of some of the 90s bath products we used to buy.

ENJOYABLE STEAM SCENT
I Love the scent! Works like a charm and just what it says. The only draw back with this one is there are string like pieces to clean up afterwards. They look like all the other steamers but they leave something behind. They also don't cost as much so for me it's worth it!

Very Vague Smell
I got the Eucalyptus and Lavender steamers. There is a very subdued scent from it. I was a little disappointed because I thought these would be good for the winter. Eucalyptus is a very strong scent and even a little bit of it goes a long way, this one doesn't smell like really anything. There is a vague lavender scent but it only lasted about five minutes.
