My wife bought this monitor and we are both amazed by how awesome the nightlight is. The colors are very rich and are so cool. We haven't tried the sleep training yet but there is a way to help your baby with the sleep training with the light color. There's also a switch to shut the wifi off if you don't want the camera sending transmission through the internet. The camera is really flexible with the neck which is a great feature as well. The rest of the camera is fairly standard but we really like it and it's been easy to set up as well.

There doesn't seem to be a way to play background audio without the app open on your phone... Tried it on Google Pixel 9 Pro and my wife's iPhone. Super disappointing as I wanted to keep this... Lots of other good features.

By did some research . I purchased this baby monitor for my new born baby girl . This monitor has multi function that i like a lot . It has a night soother light and lullaby for baby to sleep good. The picture quality is so clear and good . It worth to buy.

Says it is compatible with a parent unit but in the fine print it is NOT COMPATIBLE. The Baby Mood Lite can be used as an accessory camera for the DM620 parent unit, allowing for easier monitoring of your newborn. *DM600 is not compatible with any Chillax parent units.

Out of the box you will find the monitor (which looks like a mini-something from War of the Worlds), the power adapter, and the manual. Nothing else but packing material, and setup is just as easy. The base has a nice night-light which supports multiple colors (white, red, blue, green, orange, etc.) The camera is on a flexible goose neck, so you can literally point it anywhere in the room you like and it will stay. The camera has a quick privacy switch, which pauses video and audio in case you don't want remote viewers looking in. The base has a built-in speaker and microphone, so that you can communicate with your baby both directions, along with a volume setting to control the speaker loudness. You must use an app to remotely view the audio/video feed, and this signal will be sent to some server deep within China, so just be aware that just because the monitor and your phone are in the same house, someone else across the world has complete access to the signal. But, because of that setup, you are also able to share that feed with grandparents across the country as well. Since the data must take a round-the-world-trip, the feed can be a little laggy.

Wi-Fi remote access: I can access the monitor from my phone, allowing me to check on my baby even when I am not in the room. Cons: App compatibility: The device is only compatible with certain apps, which can be limiting.

I got this to keep an eye on the grand babies when they come over and take naps. It works well as a camera in both daylight and low light. The room they nap in is a blackout room, so it's pretty much night vision mode all the time. The audio works well. The app is pretty decent, but I wish I had gotten the version that included a dedicated monitor. Much easier to hand to someone else to keep an eye on the baby without having to either leave them your phone or make them install the app. This product has a couple of other unique features. Namely, the temperature sensor, the mood light and the built in lullabies.The mood light works great. The lullabies are really short, only a few seconds. Not sure if I am using it correctly or if that is the intent. The room temperature monitor seems accurate, but I did not compare it to a known accurate monitor. Very nice, but pricey, baby monitor. Most monitors in this price range include the monitor, but you'll have to cough up another $140 for that.
