Zappiti One 4K HDR

I was sceptical about purchasing this media player due to price difference from regular players. I have replaced a mede8er800 as I know need to something that handles uhd. One of the main reasons is that it outputs TrueHD ,Dolby Atmos and DTSX from uhd MKV files which many other players struggle with as it can’t be transferred through external usb drives. As this has internal drive capability then I thought this should do the trick but again wasn’t sure if it would work. It does work and sounds fantastic, picture quality is great too. The setup was ok, not completely straight forward but not rocket science either.The movie wall is great and once your films have been scanned works very well. You can access trailers and it automatically collates series of films for you. Also identifies different video quality, 4k, 3d, HD and SD.Although expensive I would thoroughly recommend if you want a serious player. I haven’t experienced any glitches so far. Very happy with it.

Zappiti One 4K HDRI am a complete novice and this is my first media players so i was looking for a player that made things simpleonce I got past the initial setup stage glad to say that this met that requirementi am absolutely delighted with the Zappiti Onethe video wall and poster art looks beautiful and watching 1080p and 4K UHD films the PQ is excellentof course i have only scratched the surface so it is still a learning curve

First unit arrived. User manual had stains on the inside pages as though used. Artifacts all over menu screens which software and factory resets would not fix. Zappiti support said to return it to them in France to change the motherboard. So sent that back for a refund. Ordered another one and that arrived with a piece of masking tape on the front fascia with 11 written on it, similar to another reviewers experience which suggests a refurbished unit, along with the void if damaged warranty sticker having been dated, which the first unit had not. So not even bothering to see if this one works. Its going straight back and Zappiti is most definitely crossed off my list. Shame, as the unit had potential but too many question marks and issues for me.
