coloured UV resin set
I’ve used Lets Resin’s UV resin before and have always been pleased with the results their products deliver but I’ve never used pre-coloured resins before so was intrigued to have a go with this set.The box contained additional dropper tops for all 20 bottles which have screw on caps, this is a real bonus as it makes using the resins so much easier. The range of colours is good and includes black and white. The viscosity of the liquid resin is very similar to their regular clear hard type UV resin and I found that it cured in much the same time giving a hard shiny result. As a first experiment I put white dots on the caps and bottle fronts with a white acrylic pen and added a small drop of the coloured resin in the bottle so that I wouldn’t get the caps mixed up. The colours a quite pale so on such a small dot some only just show up.I also did a small piece in a silicone mould to see how the colours look with a little more depth of resin, they are still quite pale but nice. The cured piece de-moulded really easily and had a hard shiny finish.I’m really pleased with this set and having the colours pre-mixed means I can do projects quickly and get repeatable colours. This would also be excellent for anyone new to UV resin and is a bit unsure about mixing in pigments.

Good colours but a little weak
This is a good value pack of colours for UV Epoxy but they aren't very strong so need a little more than I thought to give the colour which means that they won't last as long as they should. With enough in it colours well and gives a good effect so well worth getting. It doesn't affect the setting of the UV epoxy and sets quickly.Good colours just a little pale.

Pretty translucent resin colours for thin items.
These are bottles of coloured translucent resin as opposed to resin dyes, so are designed to be used straight from the bottle, then cured with a UV light. Because of this, the items you are making need to either be done in thin layers, or be thin enough to allow the UV light to penetrate right through. They are ideal for things like jewellery because of this, or for a thin backing layer on other objects. I have only used on keyrings so far, and they look really good, but I am keen to try them out with wire, to make resin flowers, and I think that they would work well for this. They are quite expensive for the amount you get, they are only small bottles, but it saves a lot of mess and measuring/ mixing.

Recoloured UV resin. No measuring or mixing required.
I really enjoyed using these little bottles of coloured UV resin. I hadn’t heard of UV resin at all untilI noticed it on Amazon recently. I had actually thought these little bottles were colourants to add to clear UV resin, but was so happy when I realised that these are not colourants at all. They are actually bottles of UV resin that are already coloured. To start using them, you just open the foil seal on the bottle (I ran a small craft knife round the edge) screw one of the provided nozzles onto the bottle, and you can then start using it straight away from the bottle. To have the best success with getting your UV resin to fully harden, it’s well worth investing some clear transparent silicone moulds before you start. I only had dark opaque moulds in the house, but the clear ones allow the UV rays needed to harden the resin to penetrate through. I will be buying some soon now that I’ve discover how satisfying UV resin is. I was still able to test all 12 colours, straight from the bottle nozzles onto the top of a silicone mould lid that I already had. The colours are transparent, but very pretty. Some nice swirls and effects can be achieved, and more experimentation will only make the results better. If you have a mould to contain the spread of the resin, you can of course work in layers if you wanted to, setting them with UV light in between each one, and adding different materials, such as glitter, dried flowers, etc, to make some really unique creations or jewellery.I don’t have a UV light, so I had to make use of the free sunshine available to me. UV light is present even on a cloudy day. If you have an undisturbed light windowsill you can leave your work on, that’s ideal. You could also put it in a greenhouse, or directly outside. I love the fact that this resin sets so fast compared to epoxy resin. This resin can be fully hardened in as little as 2 minutes. I really do recommend these bottles for anyone wishing to start experimenting with resin. It doesn’t smell, so you can use it in the house, but do wear gloves. Not having to do any measuring, weighing or mixing makes such a huge difference, and also makes it’s so much cleaner to use to. A silicone craft mat is recommended though, because if you do happen to spill anything on it, let it harden in the sun and it will just peel off. You can then save any coloured scraps you peel off, cut them up into small pieces with scissors, then store them in jars. These scraps become really handy additions to add colour to other pieces you work on, and can be added into the layers so that you don’t waste anything.

Lovely colours
I haven't been able to try out the UV function, but judging by the colours themselves, this is a good value pack, and works well with clear epoxy resin. Easy to mix and distributes evenly, the colours are much more subtle when it sets. It's good to have so many choices, and as only a few drops are needed these will last a long time. Worth a try.

Great fun
There is a great selection of colours to get you started with this resin kit, all you need to add are a mould of some type and UV lamp.It would be better if the manufacturer provided details of, or a link to the wire that they demonstrate being used in their video - I have tried to locate it without success!I have only tried this product in a small and relatively thin mould, little hearts for use as pendants, and it worked well. I added some glitter too which added interest and a sparkle to the finished product.I had no issues, but would think that it can only be used for thin casting, in order for the light to be effective at setting the resin.Certainly something to provide an introduction into the art of resin crafting, with no complicated mixing to perform, unlike epoxy resins, so great for kids.
