This is a very attractive plated necklace with a nice jeweled medallion pendant. Both chain and pendant have a nice shiny gold color. The whole piece is very lightweight, and I am concerned a bit about the chain which seems so thin and flimsy. It is described as GP zinc, which would not be expected to handle a lot of stress. The clasp is sturdy and strong.I think the best use of this pretty item would be for special occasions only. It would make a lovely gift.

I like the artistic butterfly design on the pendant of this necklace. It is very detailed and I kind of wish it was a little larger to show it off better. There is even a rhinestone circle that attaches the pendant to the chant that is a nice touch of detailing. The chain is bright gold-tone and seems to be of good quality for a piece of costume jewelry. It's a lightweight necklace, so it is comfortable to wear and easy to pack. the one thing I don't like is the message on the back of the pendant that says "smile, love, freedom" which I think kind of cheapens the piece. Other than that minor complaint, it's a very pretty necklace.
