Storm Warning: Insurgent (On Silver Wings Book 10)

I'd feared the author was fed up writing this series when I'd read the last book with his summing up but WOW what a welcome return. If he'd feared he was being stale or repetitive then he'd needn't have worried. The story flows naturally bringing with it the much loved lead character and the history of the previous books but also loads and loads of new questions leaving a hunger for future history and Universal revelations. I can't wait to read more, long may it continue. I thoroughly enjoyed this exciting read. Thank you

It really doesn’t matter how improbable the story is , reading about Aida doing her thing even after 20 years, is just brilliant, long live Entropy.

I very much enjoyed this, the next in a long series.

Overall this is a brilliant and excellent series. The first five or six books were brilliant. The two preceding this one had good moments but all of a sudden were mostly cliche' with some good bits in between, particularly as we "see" more of the Ross. I think this book marks the start of a return to Aida at her best. I hope Aida's story continues with the impact of the earlier books and finishes on a high. There is clearly a lot that could happen with the hidden agendas of the galactic powers. Please drop the cowboy-bebop and continue the return to excellent military / geopolitical scifi foundations of the series.

I'm a syfy nut and this series was right up my alley. Well written, kept my interest and held me so that at times couldn't put my kindle down.

An excellent continuation of Sorilla saga and so many opportunities for expansion across the foundation laid by earlier stories.Evan Curry is my favorite author - definitely one of the best sci-fi writers I have read for a very long time long time

It takes a while to get going, a long time to set out the circumstances for the basis of the story and it's more intrigue than actionThe Sarge figures heavily in the story as does Jeremy and his family, but it is really about the planet as a whole and their reaction to Earth joining the AllianceThe last 30% is where the action picks up and we get to see the Sarge as we know her from previous booksNot sure where the series is going, hopefully a bit more action than intrigue in the next one

Congratulations to Evan Curie for this amazing series. It’s extremely hard to find such an interesting and exciting author who not only writes intelligently but also provides top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories.

I’m glad they are continuing this series. I read all of the books years ago and really liked them. I kept looking for more books in the series for years and finally gave up. Hopefully there will be a few more books. I don’t care if Aida is 100yrs old she is still a badass !
