100PCS Gold Leaf Sheets for Craft, Painting and Arts

I always wanted to try gold leaf so decided to get the fake gold to experiment with. It gives a nice effect but I found it very sheer, messy and fiddly. It also leaves gold specks which are difficult to remove even with magic tape. I found it more time consuming clearing up both on the artwork and desk/floor than it was completing the project. I’m sure it has nothing to do with the product, just glad I didn’t get the real gold leaf. It was worth trying but it will be a while before I use it again.

Now that I have my gold foil sheets, I am totally able to start. Because some of our favorite pieces of artwork are the ones that I made myself. And my personal favorites, have gold foil in them, or on them. It is so much fun to use these gold foil sheets. So many different things can be created.After I have created some of my art pieces, I will post pictures of them afterwards. I’m not an artist, but I copy well. Of course with my own spin, as to not plagiarize. It just shows how much fun that you can have with the gold foil sheets. They are precious to me and I absolutely love working with them. I've always wanted to try out gold leaf on different projects to see how it works and all the ways I could add sparkle to projects. I recently tried using some gold leaf on my wood burned projects to add a different medium to those pieces. I like the contrast between the gold and the different variants of the burned wood. I like the smaller pieces of gold leaf paper as well because it makes it easier to work with and I don't have to worry about wasting big sheets or getting too much at a time.

Okay, I know nothing about gold leafing. What I can say, is these seem nice. They shipped quickly and were packaged nicely. Nothing was torn or damaged when it arrived. I look forward to learning how to gold leaf! If I find these problematic, I'll come and update my review.
