Ok... but not right for me
Just some background information I’m a severely heavy bleeder with clotting, I have a retroflexed uterus, and I’ve had one child. On first opening the package I liked the carrying pouch and they are cute cups. I had previously looked into the cups and had already did the research on care and placing it and removing it. The instruction manual was very easy to follow. They were flexible and I think too much so and this lead me to ultimately decide that this cup was not for me at all. I placed the cup no kidding about 30 times and it would continue to move and then come out. I thought I was doing it wrong, but after speaking with my friends who do use one and this was not the case. I would place it properly then with any type of movement it would get pushed out. After a while I finally found a placement that was good and I went for a run and it almost came out. I realize there is some learning curve but this was just a confidence killer. I did more research and found a different cup that was shorter in length and much firmer https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LZGJ30F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_c7.XAbZYCYQXVThis cup I received and placed it with no problems at all and it stayed in place. Definitely a much better chioce for me.Photo shows size difference of the purple coomammy vs the other cup I purchased

No More Tampons
This is a very comfortable and affordable pair of cups! The larger size is easy to insert with a punch-down fold. It is also easy for me to form a light suction with this cup for protection against leaking. I also like that it's easy to clean (using Femmycycle cleanser) and sanitize (by boiling). I had to cut the stem down to between the first two notches in order to accommodate a low cervix. My period was shorter with this cup, and it did well with a heavy flow and being changed and cleaned only twice a day. There was less odor and less cramping than when I've used tampons, which I will NEVER go back to using.

Active and On the Go
I was really sceptical about the idea of a menstrual cup but read about how beneficial they are with camping and backpacking so I gave the Coomammy brand a go.I purchased two sizes and I'm glad I did. Everything I've read says a large is suggested because of my age and because I'm a mom but I'm much more comfortable with the small.Helen was very helpful when I had concerns about the tip tugging and pulling when I sat down or walked. She offered multiple options on how to adjust the cup, including the possibility of exchanging for a different fit. I ended up cutting a bit off the end and am now very comfortable.
