Lavender Therapeutic Grade Essential Oil - 30 ml

I'm glad I gave these a try. I'd always used DoTerra EO's. But they're so $$$. Eden's Garden is a comparable brand with a lovely scent and not known for being full of synthetic fillers. Will be using more in the future.

We've already ordered a second bottle! I had heard what an amazingly versatile oil Lavender was, but until you start using it, you really don't believe it. After an intense hiking trip through rough terrain, my family of four was pretty scratched up so I pulled out the Lavendar to soothe & heal -- we all avoided infections, pain diminished immediately, healing was accelerated and with minimal (if any) scarring. After hearing it could be used as a sunscreen, this skeptical, pale-skinned Irish girl blended it with coconut oil and gave it a try prior to running a 5K. Normally, I burn in under 15 minutes, experiencing a lot of redness and irritated skin. For extended exposure, I'll get peeling and sometimes blisters as well. After my Lavendar oiled race? No redness, no burning, no irritation or itching -- just a lovely golden tan -- a TAN!! I don't ever tan! Soo impressed! Days later, my allergies were really wreaking havoc with my asthma. I remembered hearing about someone holding a drop in their mouth so I looked it up. It suggested putting 1-2 drops of Lavender under the tongue & holding it for 30 seconds, so with one drop on my finger, I held it under my tongue. It tingled slightly, but wasn't uncomfortable - it DID taste terrible - but within a few seconds, I could actively feel my upper sinuses clearing! For the next several hours, I was breathing more freely and deeply than I had in weeks! I will seriously never let myself run out of this stuff ever!!!

I do not sleep well at night and I haven't for years. I have tried exercising, all the sleep hygiene advice from my doctor, medication and none of it worked. My friend recommended a diffuser and lavender oil. I was so skeptical but I really didn't have anything else to lose at this point. I did my research about essential oil companies and Eden's Garden was consistently one of the top 10 companies so I purchased this. The sleep I have gotten the last two weeks has been amazing! Like deep deep quality sleep. I start running my diffuser about an hour before I go to bed and I don't even make it an hour before I start getting sleepy. I am sold on lavender oil and will make sure I never run out! Eden's garden is 100% lavender and it is not diluted with any other oil product. If you are on the fence about turning to oils to help you sleep I recommend taking the plunge! You won't regret it.

This Bulgarian lavender oil is the best! I love it in my diffuser for relaxing, meditating, and sleeping. I’ve used other lavender scents before and tried various reputable brands, but none compare! I purchased the 30ml vial; that alone says how much I love it! Plus the company always puts a little thank you and sample with your order. Give it a try, you’ll love it!

As an herbalist, I prefer other varieties of lavender than the variety used in this product. The fragrance of this is okay, but it is not as true or as pleasant as others. The oil consistency is quite thin. It may be therapeutic grade oil, but on the skin it feels more like kerosene than other pure essential oils I've used. It tends to stay atop the skin more than other oils which are absorbed better or more thoroughly. If used in a diffuser (such as a bowl that heats the oil over a tealight candle) it disappears much faster than usual, must be replenished more often, and a larger quantity of it must be poured in than expected. I've used and sold many brands of pure essential oils over the years, but have never run into one like this before. I was immediately confused and dismayed with the fragrance upon opening the bottle anticipating that first clean, rich scent to which I am accustomed; did not anticipate having to use such a huge quantity of it in my diffuser nor watch it disappear (I usually only have to add drops of oil, not literally pour it in, filling the diffuser bowl; and the drops are usually sufficient to last through one tealight candle); and I've never known an essential oil to feel more like kerosene than oil. As a side note, using essential oils in a diffuser is wonderful for anyone allergic to synthetic fragrance products (air fresheners or upholstery fresheners) and they can permeate your entire home, no matter in which room the diffuser is placed, as well as curtains and upholstery.
