Excellent bonding for HDPE to PLA.
This adhesive worked great for my project which was to bond some 3D printed (PLA) items to polyethylene (HDPE). After 24 hours of curing the two items were bonded together as if they were one. There was a lot of surface area for the connection that I was bonding so perhaps my situation was optimal for this product but I couldn't be happier with the result. There's not a lot of instructions included, so it might be helpful to know how I used the product: - I started with both surfaces to be bonded in a horizontal position. The adhesive (and the primer are very thin and runny and this is the only way to minimize the mess. - I masked off the non-bonding areas with blue painters tape to further reduce mess. - I first primed the pieces by brushing the entire (cleaned) area for be bonded with acetone. Acetone is cheap and I had some (from Home Depot) so I decided to try it as an alternative to the expensive but official 3M primer. - I applied a thin layer of adhesive to the HDPE side, spreading it about a bit with a wooden stir stick. - I joined the pieces, clamped them together and carefully wiped away the excess with a paper towel. Note that the bonding is not immediate. Out of an abundance of caution I left the clamps on for 24 hours. Maybe another process would work as well, but that worked great for me. You end up using a very small amount of adhesive so the little bottle goes farther than you might think. To be honest I had serious doubts that anything would work to bond HDPE, and was amazed at how well it ended up working. Good luck!

Very impressive rubber bonding great for diy seals/gaskets
Very impressive bonding specially rubber to rubber applications. And dries fairly quickly on its own but fastest with a CA activator.

This stuff is great!
I did a ton of research trying to find a glue to bond a soft plastic tablecloth fabric to a hard smooth plastic surface. I knew the usual glues that i use in my crafts were not going to adhere to the hard plastic. This stuff really works exceptionally well! It did not melt my fabric at all either. There was one small section that had some regular material as reinforcement over the hinge (that I left in place) that had some other kind of glue under it and there was a tiny amount of smoke when I glued over that but it was only for an second or two. I'm super grateful for the advice to wear gloves because my hands definitely would have been covered had I not because it is very runny. I also used shop towels to both absorb any excess glue and to press things into place - that worked great too. I'll definitely be purchasing more of this glue for future projects. I noticed that the directions on amazon mentioned using a bonding primer when joining polypropylene and polyethylene and I wasn't sure if I needed that but I didn't. I'll definitely be purchasing the primer too in case I need it in the future with this glue. BTW, I found the directions on the bottle impossible to read even with my bifocals! I highly recommend getting this glue!!!

Best rubber glue I ever used; Expensive but worth it
After a lot of research I bought this glue to repair some tennis shoe soles that had started to come loose. I looked at lots of glues - instant, contact, two-part, etc., and eventually landed on this one. It is one of the more expensive adhesives, and it comes in a very plain, industrial-looking plastic container, no animals, colors or pretty pictures on the bottle, and in a plain cellophane wrap, but does it work? You bet it does. I can't quite believe the level of bond I got on rubber to rubber, it's amazing. There is absolutely no give, no sign of the edge coming loose again, it's very solid. At the price, I can see why you'd have reservations, so go ahead buy a cheaper one and be frustrated when it's not quite as good as you need. Then buy this one. I've been there. I write some reviews but not many, however this product got my attention and if you want something that works, get your wallet out, but this works. One more important "health and safety" thing. The small-print is *small* - it's really tiny, I used a loupe to read it. But definitely read it. My inner five year old came out and I smelled the glue while it was wet. REALLY BAD IDEA. Don't do that. It doesn't just smell bad, it smells dangerous. It made me physically recoil and it took a while for the weird feeling in my nose to go away, so don't smell it, and keep the product locked away from the wee ones. That's all. Great glue, easily worth the money.

This Stuff Works
Plastic and Super Glue don't always work, but this stuff does. Applied to the edge of an 1/8" plastic sheet, then placed in a plastic channel. A bit of pressure for about 10 seconds. A really tight bond resulted. Gave me just what I was looking for. Could not get apart the next day. Recommend.
