Directions take a little figuring out, but overall fairly easy assembly and item as described.

Love it. Exactly what I wanted. Great customer service. Instruction were a little tricky but not as bad as everyone said. It’s all in metric so divide by 25.4 and problem solved. Went from coffee color to beige and love it.

Quality is good, especially for the price. The instructions were hideous. I ended up hiring a contractor to finish the job and he and his crew had trouble following the directions!

I hired someone to install the awning. It took two people 6 hours to install. One reason why is the product had parts on the wrong side and it had to be taken apart and put back together. The installer had to buy different screws to secure it properly to my house. It’s not an easy thing to install so please beware before you purchase. I like the look of the awning, however, I am very skeptical it will hold up to any kind of wind as it is stated it will. Time will tell but I probably will keep the awning closed if there is any wind above 10 miles an hour. Our back patio gets very sunny and hot in the summer and I really just wanted it to provide shade so we can sit outside and not melt. Just won’t be able to use it if it is too windy. I think the manufacturer should work on quality control and writing a better instruction manual. It is a very good value compared to awnings sold by Sunsetter and if you have a tight budget, then this is your awning. I paid $200 for the awning and paid $375 to the installer so I’m all in $575. Sunsetter wanted over $5,000. I’m sure their product is higher quality but it comes down to how much you want to spend.

This awning is exactly what i needed for this space. Has withstood some gusty winds. Crank still works fine. I'm just a bit concerned with the greeny stains that have started to appear in the canopy, haven't washed away with rain alone. Maybe i should try some cleaning product (but who has time?). Even so, i recommend.

WARNING!!!!!! Defective and dangerous product!!! DO NOT BUY.! Assembled and installed this product which the instructions are horrible and it took a whole day to install. Extended the awning fine, but then when I tried to retract the metal rails that hold the arms bent & broke way to easily, and the whole thing comes apart.It looks like they using cheapest grade of materials and manufacturing. Stay away!!!! This is not safe around humans or pets.

The media could not be loaded. Wasn't too hard to install with a second set of hands. Color was as expected. There is no ground clearance needed to 'raise the awning open' as mentioned in another review. The scissor style system opens the awning out from the top. Keep in mind the leading edge will drop lower, however, as it opens.

Item was delivered earlier than expected. Excellent packaging. All parts were in the box and easy to identify. Holes all drilled and lined up properly. Overall quality is very good. Instructions were simple to follow, but definitely recommend watching the couple of videos on YouTube for additional help. Installation took me approximately three (3) hours - most of that time was mounting the brackets onto the wall. I was able to install the 16 ft shade alone, but definitely having assistance would've been a lot easier! I would recommend this shade for anyone looking for a good value and is savvy with simple handyman skills.
