While this unit didn't work for us personally, I'm giving it 5 stars for its overall functionality. It's sturdy, well built and it was easy to put together. The bathtub grip is simple to adjust and does have excellent grip when fastened to the tub- it was FAR sturdier than I was honestly expecting. This unit was purchased for a taller person (6ft+) and just didn't provide enough height to be helpful. However for a shorter person, this would be a great product.

Sturdy, easy to install, versatile. Needed a bath bar, but did not want to drill into tile creating a leak source. This can be moved and raised to fit any need. Not just great for old women, also useful for toddlers and kids negotiating slippery bath tubs. You can even mount it horizontally on a shower wall instead of a grip bar. Might get a second one just for that. I like that it does not require permanent intallation.

This product works well for me. Very sturdy. Fits.well over my curved tub lip with no wiggle. Gives me confidence getting in and out.

Very sturdy Amazing

We purchased this for a friend with mobility issues that was visiting, also keeping mind that it would be good for other family that may need that support. It went on easy, though we did have to place it in the middle of the tub due to the way ours is designed, but it worked great. Our friend like it so much that she decided that she was going to buy one as well so she had another support besides the wall bars at her own home. Our kids even like the added security so we keep it on all the time, though it’s easy enough to take on and off repeatedly.

Bought one of these for my senior mother to assist her getting in and out of the tub in her mid 80s. Very well built and constructed along with the tubing being very strong with good welds! Simple to use and just slide down over her tub, tighten the screw clamp and was good to go! Clamp has pads on it to grip your tub and not leave marks on it. It clamps snug and tight! No worries of her putting her weight on it if needed and working that it may slip, move or break! If not mistaken, it is a Made in America item and the quality shows!!! It was also affordable priced, shipped fast and easy to install! Well worth the money and gives peace of mind of my elderly mother still getting in and out of her tub!

I bought this for my elderly father to be able to take showers in our tub. It works perfectly and can hold his entire weight.
