This means no messy piles of green, blue, purple space cards all stuck together in the box by something sticky that you don't want to know about, no missing Snowflake Castle card that you just have to find or the game isn't even worth playing, no shuffling of the deck, and no scattered double reds finding their way into the Monopoly Junior game box and causing an unanticipated meltdown. This game simply let's you spin for your space, and it takes away none of the fun or charm of the original Candy Land. Plus, the figurines are sturdy, like action figures, and offer three choices: Minnie, Figaro the Cat, and Daisy (spoiler: you will always be Daisy, because no one really likes Daisy).The box keeps everything intact, and the game plays well, mimicking the original Candy Land layout with only minor differences attributed to it being Minnie Mouse themed. We were disappointed to discover though that the game pieces (Minnie, Daisy, Figaro) are twice as big as the spaces on the game board. This makes game play impossible with toddlers & preschoolers. Thankfully I had some old game tokens from another game that we substituted with, but this is a huge flaw in the design of the game board. The game pieces themselves are a very nice size for small hands, and very stable with their large bases (which is nice for little kids) the game board itself should have been made larger to properly accommodate these.
