better than anything i could find for 2001 jeep cherokee XJ. they seem to work well .these are not cheep, but you get what you pay for. these cost a little more, but seem like they will last a life time. the others that are made for the jeeps have a cap that is glued on, these are solid5-11-15 Edit: this set still looks brand new and seems like they are made out of good metal, so i just put a second set on my off-road 1998 jeep cherokee xj. i have taken them off and on many times and they do not deform like the cheap ones, i live on a gravel road and they also see a bit of mud, still look new.

Using these on a restoration. Easily buffed to a chrome like shine that is forever.

Bought these for my 1999 Ford Mustang and YES, these work perfectly with automobiles too (not just trailers, etc.) Every year I swap between Summer and Winter tires, so my lug nuts tend to get handled a lot and no surprise, the somewhat expensive Gorilla and McGard branded lug nuts rusted (all of them at minimum since they're cheap metal and only zinc coated) and sometimes had their caps break off during each 6-month period; the latter is dangerous since it causes the actual lugs to be exposed and rust too!) Overall, I was just tired of spending money on low-quality lug nuts that cost nearly the same as these premium stainless steel designed lugs.Upon receipt, I found these to be perfect and flawless. They are truly stainless steel (I work in a machine shop and could tell right away) and I will post a follow-up once Summer is over to update status on the rust-proof claim, which by all accounts, should prove true with the material these are made of. LOVE THEM and no more repeat purchases of cheap lugs that look awful in just months.UPDATE: Today is 7/18/17 and I am back to say these are really, REALLY nice lug nuts. They look brand new on my Mustang *STILL* and I am extremely careful to make sure each one gets put on when I swap my wheels twice per year; I don't want the tire shop to lose any, haha. Again, I highly recommend these since automotive shops and even dealers sell incredibly cheap, incredibly overpriced versions made from cheap metal alloys and subpar zinc coatings.

Great replacement for the chrome capped lug nuts that swell up.

They look awesome, BUT they gall easily ... knowing that, you can be careful while threading them onto the lugs. I really don't know if I'd buy more, but had to give them a try. .since I never used solid stainless lug nuts before.

(that was a joke)Seriously, these are a nice addition to any 1/2" x 20 TPI lug. I now have them on a pickup and several trailers. NOT inexpensive, but will never need to be replaced and, yes, they are not magnetic.
