Work great in hard soil
Bought these knowing I wouldn't be able to screw anchor my carport down. I was able to drive 5 anchors into compacted DG, with the 6th being stymied by a rock. All in all great value and good product.

works
Easy to install. The rod for install bent a little but still worked.

NOT ALL ALUMINUM !
While I do like this style of anchor very much and it's ease of installation and holding power, it is advertised as being ALL aluminum. It is NOT! The anchor its self is aluminum, but the cable is NOT! Nor is the cable stainless steel, which means over time the cable will rust and fail. We'll see just how long they will last...

Tiny but mighty
I'm using two of these to anchor one corner of a 16'x16' sun shade canopy next to our garage. Neither has budged an inch over the past winter despite plenty of rain and high wind loads. I was a bit skeptical but these things flat out work, they won't rot or rust, and they're nearly invisible. We have sandy loam with some clay and I installed them as deeply as possible. I softened the ground first by poking a few holes in the bottom of a plastic milk jug, filling it with water then setting it where I planned to install them for a few hours. I pounded a pilot hole using a short length of rebar before pounding in the anchors, though they'd have likely gone in fine without it.

Drive tool needs improvement
Drive tool bent like a shepherds hook. Tried to pull it out and the entire thing, anchor or tool, came out all bent up. Head mushroomed bad.Drive tool needs to be hardened and available to buy individually. Now i have anchors and no drive tool.
