Dilute and clear
I've used sandalwood before, and this doesn't even seem like sandalwood, let alone "therapeutic grade", since it is very dilute and CLEAR. Sandalwood is thicker and has a bit of color to it. Is it really pure sandalwood essential oil? It doesn't smell quite the same either. What was done to it in the distillation process? Sorry, I don't mean to be negative, I'm a very positive person, it's just that I feel like it is not what I was expecting.

This is NOT an essential oil.
I am very surprised that this oil has only one 1-star review, and now I wish I read it prior to ordering it. I guess the price looked great compared to other chamomile oils which cost $15-20 dollars just for 10 ml, and I got a huge bottle for just $20!!! But... you get what you pay for. Wassertstein Chamomile oil is definitely NOT an essential oil, which should be way more concentrated than this one. So for the company to call it "essential oil" is a lie. I bought it for the purpose of using it in the diffuser, but I could barely smell it even on my own skin, and the scent dissipated in less that 30 minutes. Forget about putting it in 100-300mL of water and mixing it with other oils that are truly essential oils. You will not feel it at all. You think you are saving money but you are not. If you mix just a few drops of real essential oil with 4oz of a carrier oil, you will get an equivalent of Wasserstein Chamomile oil. And this is what you are paying $20 for. I just purchased another Chamomile oil, and it's from NOW Foods. Now that's real essential oil! Do not waste your money on this product! Do some research before buying essential oils. I just learned myself that companies call their oils "therapeutic" when they actually are not. There is no such thing and it's a marketing hype!

Spicy Vanilla Smell
I read a lot of the reviews for this company and this scent before purchasing. Since I’m planning to use the vanilla essential oil in a humidifier and on the filters of my air purifiers, the scent was my main concern. I have bought vanilla essential oil from a few different companies, so I know that there are many different types of scents that all state “vanilla” on the description. With that being said....The first whiff when I opened the bottle smelled a bit off to me. I thought that it didn’t really smell the same as the oil I’ve been using. So I opened up and smelled the bottle of vanilla oil that I have a little bit left of from Nature’s Oil that I was buying this to replace. Um, hm. I didn’t realize that the vanilla oil that I have been using has a heavy chemical smell. I only noticed it after smelling the Wasserstein essential oil. After realizing that, I retested the Wasserstein and noticed that it smells like a mix of vanilla and cinnamon to me. It doesn’t have a strong sweet smell that a lot of people associate with vanilla. Don’t get me wrong, it still smells sweet-ish to me, but a bit spicy too. Another reviewer called it a French Vanilla smell. The scent strength seems to be in the medium range, it’s not the weakest scent that I’ve smelled, but it also didn’t knock me over/cause the knee jerk reaction where I quickly pull my head back when smelling it directly from the bottle. The color is clear, so it won’t stain if you are planning to use it on clothing or in soaps. The dropper is exactly as described in other reviews. It is a piece of cut plastic without a tapered end (See attached photo)The box and packaging are well constructed.I gave 4 stars because of the dropper and the strength of the scent, I would’ve liked it to be a little stronger.

More of a French Vanilla scent
The price is right, but this is definitely more of a french vanilla scent than the vanillas I'm used to. It's not overly sweet or super artificial smelling so I will still use it, especially for laundry & diffusing, but not for the homemade body cremes I was intending it for. And I probably won't purchase it again. I knew that was the gamble though going with such an inexpensive product though. The little box it came in was a nice touch, although the chintzy "dropper" it comes with almost negates the luxurious box. The bulb part of the dropper is legit but there's just a hacked off little piece of tubing shoved into the bulb, that comes nowhere near working as it doesn't seal into the bulb at all & the oil just runs right out of the tube before you can even get it up to lip of the bottle. Definitely not the dropper shown in the photo as there is zero tapering on the end. The best "real" vanilla scent I have found is from Aura Cacia, unfortunately that bottle is the same price as this but for a ⅓ of an ounce! Twelve times as expensive as this one. But I guess that's the trade off. This is not a bad product, just not what I was looking for

I Cannot Smell the Sandalwood!!
The only reason I gave this product 2 stars is that 1) the box it comes in is beautiful, and 2) the oil absorbs well. However, I WILL NOT buy it again because I cannot smell ANY SCENT AT ALL OF SANDALWOOD!! The instructions say to apply a few drops to a diffuser or to lotions. I did but no scent. I applied the product undiluted to my arms and legs and couldn’t smell a thing and neither could my husband or other people I asked!Earlier this year I bought a wonderful sandalwood product that didn’t cost a fortune and was delighted with its fragrance. But I totally forgot the name of the company. If anyone can tell me of a sandalwood essential oil where the scent is detectable, I would so appreciate it.This was not at all one of them! I was SO DISAPPOINTED!

Do NOT buy this product!!
Do NOT purchase this product! The cap is broken and does not fit bottle! Prime says you can ship it back but how do you ship back a product that has a crappy lid! Relooking at the product it says you can’t return it! 😡

Authentic!
Being Indian I am very picky about authentic scents. I have tried other sandlewood oils and have been disappointed as it was not pure the way I remember it.However, I very pleased with your product. It reminds me of Home.

There is no doubt that this product is of good quality but where this product falls short is something ...
There is no doubt that this product is of good quality but where this product falls short is something that seems to be a common complaint by numerous buyers of these products and that is the packaging. I bought the 4Oz bottle of Myrrh and like many other buyers noted the contents of the bottle had leaked!I have purchased many other essential oils from other vendors and the bottles come with the bottle capped and the dropper comes separately so the contents remain IN the bottle. Unfortunately, that can not be said for this product. About a quarter of the contents had poured out of the bottle by the time I received it because the dropper came loose, that to me is money NOT well spent...I feel cheated.I truly hope that this seller/producer looks into this issue because the oil itself smells absolutely fantastic and I'm sure the quality is on point but if customers are not going to get their moneys worth then it's not worth purchasing.A side note, if the seller feels so inclined to offer a smaller bottle of the same product I will gladly accept it as a peace offering, food for thought...

NOT Myrrh
This is not myrrh. I've been using myrrh for 10 years and was skeptical when I saw the price on this, but I thought I'd give it a shot.I was right to be skeptical. Myrrh has a warm, earthy, almost musky scent. Whatever this is smells like curry mixed with cumin. If it comes from the myrrh plant, it's probably the root - it's definitely not from the myrrh resin.I have no idea what this is, so it has no therapeutic value to me. I received it today and it's already in the garbage.

? Vanilla essential oil ?
This product does not smell like vanilla. 100% pure what? 100% pure BS. Do yourself a favor, do not purchase this product. Research vanilla essential oil... it doesn't exist. I'm curious what this product is actually made up of.Oh, and you can't return the opened product either, which is understandable, but now i'm stuck with a 4oz bottle of mystery liquid that doesn't smell like vanilla. All I'm saying is do a little research before purchasing the product, I wish I had.

Design of bottle faulty resulting in it all leaking out in transit. Also smelt funny.
Like several other reviewers, my bottle arrived completely empty. The plastic seal on the top had split, meaning that the oil leaked out of the dropper. The bottle comes in a little black box. The box was soaked in the tea tree and smelt very strong. The bottle top needs a rethink, although having a dropper is really useful so I hope this is not discarded. Maybe it can be delivered alongside the bottle in it’s box and a normal screw top on the bottle. The tea tree also smelt a bit strange. Very nice, but not like tea tree. For these reasons, I will not be re ordering.Amazon have promised me a full refund so I am happy with that.

Bought to treat nits.
Bought this lavender oil because it has a dropper. 5 drops of this and 5 of tea tree oil mixed into shampoo kills nits. Bought to give to my daughter so that she could treat my granddaughter's hair. I used my own lavender oil when the child was staying with me but mine doesn't have a dropper. Had the oil sent directly to daughter's home and her partner thought it was perfume for her because it was wrapped so nicely and looked expensive.Very impressive and I'm sure very good oil.
