Lovely DVD, evocative of a time gone by. It was interesting seeing Sir Johns children talking about their father and I especially liked the old moving images of their childhood as well as footage of so many of their friends such as Stewart Granger and Jean Simmons in their heyday. Sir John was an extraordinary man and I recommend this personal glimpse into the life of one of our cinematic greats.

A nicely produced tribute to arguably the greatest screen actor this country ever produced. The colour footage is amazing and illuminates the career of this fine actor in a way that black and white wouldn't.All in all a moving tribute to a true icon of acting.

Terrific viewing

It was very enjoyable. A lovely trip down memory lane and great to see film stars from the past relaxing away from the film set.
