WINPLUS Type S LM-10391-6 Map Light

I bought this light to provide a low-level (as low as possible) light source for my ashtray in my car at night. Since new cars these days don't come standard with an ashtray, the dealer "add on" ashtray is usually just a heavy-duty cup with a lid, and no light, that goes in your cup holder far far away from the dash or stereo lights. This light is perfect - provides a very very low light, and the bendable arm moves the light out of the way during the daytime hours. It has an on/off switch.That said, if you're looking for a map light, I'd keep looking. This light is very very very dim, and my 40 year old eyes wouldn't be able to read by it. The neck of the light is also extremely short, so you will have to read your map within about 6" of your outlet - and mine is down by the aforementioned cupholders, so I don't see this being useful in my car for it's intended purpose. But it works fine for what I needed!

I bought two methods from this company took it out of the package right out to my car plugged it in and it broke thought I did something wrong and got the other package I put it in my car and it and it broke as well what do I do now ???

Plastic lamp housing is so brittle - especially where the plastic meets the flex tube - that a simple adjustment of the flex tube cracked the lamp assembly and the whole thing fell apart. If I had to guess, I would think that 95% of these break within a few days. Mine did on day one. I do have to say that Amazon did great in the return and refund. Product is just not worth buying.

This was better than I thought it would be.Just the right length to reach my ashtray from the cigarette lighter. I love the 2 different colors also

Absolute garbage. Did not make it from the package to the car before breaking . The purchase price was refunded but unfortunately not the shipping which was as much as the light. Buyer beware!
