The adhesive part is silicone-like and making it easier to remove and doesn’t leave the terrible cushion residue like the others such as form adhesive. Certain wood desk and furniture such as oak desk do not have a very smooth surface, the adhesive takes time (24 hours) to set. If it is too cold, the adhesive may be hard and require heat-up, making it softer and sticky. The multi pack is ideal and have used half of them already in various rooms in the house. Good value.
