I walk up to 10km or more per day during the course of my work. I wear a pair of Merrell low rise walking/hiking boots (size 10 UK) and had upgraded the standard insole to a more supportive Superfeet Green pair of insoles, meaning that the fit was slightly tighter and I needed to wear a thinner sock rather than walking socks.I'd tried several different types and brands of sock and wasn't happy with any of them - they either slipped inside the shoe, they were too loose, the pilled easily or were tight above the ankle.I bought these socks on the basis of the great reviews I'd seen here and I'm pleased to say I'm very happy to recommend this product.Shortly after receiving the package, I received a "welcome" type email from the supplier, which I thought was a very professional touch.Following the care instructions, I washed the socks prior to wearing them on my standard mixed coloureds 40 deg wash with a load of other clothes. The socks washed well and dried very quickly on the outdoor line without any shrinkage or fading. I don't bother to iron socks, just folded in half.Wearing a pair for the first time, the 9-11 size I'd bought felt a perfect fit, neither tight or loose and they don't pinch or grip too tightly above the ankle. While you can still feel a little of the ribbing, these are extremely comfortable socks to wear through a 12 hour shift and doing a lot of walking.

I ordered size 9-11 as I am a size 10 and they were the perfect fit. The elasticity of the top band was perfect, it held the socks secure where I put them without being too tight and pinching. The cut of the socks around the toes was comfortable unlike some cheaper alternatives.A nice feature of the size being sewn in white thread on the base of the foot is great to ensure the correct socks goto the right place. A common problem with plain black socks in my house.I wore the socks in work boots for a 12HR shift and my feet felt comfortable and cool throughout the day. I didn’t get sweaty feet as with some other brands.A great all round sock which is very comfortable in wearing even for a long extended day.

I've had these a week and so far have worn six pairs. I'm very happy with them. They are obviously cotton rich (no sweaty feet). They are also very comfortable to wear. To the touch they seem quite thin but feel just right on the feet. To reduce fluff, I washed them (turned inside out) before my first wear, and dried them on the line in the last of the summer sun. This regime was suggested by the seller in a pleasant email that arrived once I'd placed my order. I suppose it is hard to get excited about socks but these are very nice indeed. Sizing seems fine, too. I'll be buying these again.

Likes:- Perfect fit. I am never happy with socks that range from 6-11. These ones are from 9-11 so fit perfectly. I have now worn and washed all 10 pairs, all still in perfect order. The material is soft and pliable so give good comfort, stitching very good. definitely will be ordering more when required.Dislikes:- None.Overall good quality, perfect fit, speedy delivery, what's not to like. My order was delivered promptly on the specified date. I wanted cotton socks as my feet are not comfortable in socks containing man-made fibres. These socks are almost all cotton so fit the bill. They are a perfect size for my size eleven feet. What I like is that they fit my thick ankles without leaving a grip mark but do not slip down either. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase

These socks are so soft and of a very high quality cotton feel so much more expensive than they actually are they are really comfortable to wear and are breathable very good product and I highly reccomend these socks as I will be buying more cannot go wrong for the excellent price couldn't be happier with this purchase

This was the first time I've bought socks on line so wasn't sure what to expect. I have been pleasantly surprised, they are decent quality and no different to socks I've bought in shops. Only downside is that they are a little short for me but I am 6ft 5 with long legs so that's not the fault of the sock.

These socks are very good and well worth the money , albeit not expensive , I say moderately large only because I ordered the wrong size , I would normally take size seven and half to eight , these are nine to eleven but are fine , good quality , comfortable , should last a while
