The product is fine. Pay attention to the size. These were smaller than I expected but I never really checked the dimensions before I ordered. Screws are very short, don't expect these to take a lot of load. Probably best for a picture frame

Bought these to hang wooden window valances I made.Perfect size and strong enough to hold 37” x3/4 stock with no problem.

Others a right, screws are horrible and they are a smidge over 1/2” wide. That said, I found other wood screws at Home Depot that work great. Also the they are plenty thick to hold whatever you’re hanging, just get good screws. Also yes, the screws stick out too far. All that said, I made them work and they were the only 1/2” width on Amazon I could find.

On the small side. It would take several to support a shelf.

8/10 were flat and useable right out of package. 1/10 had a significant burr on one side that had to be removed. 1/10 has a fair bend that had to be flattened. All screws were accounted for and had no defects. Would most likely order again if needed due to defects being minor when compared to some of the others I have ordered.

Just what was needed to complete my project!

The photo of this product is very misleading and taken under intense zoom. These hangars are for wall decor or medium-sized mirrors at best. I intend to hang a 10' long coat rack, and this product will not do. The primary concern is the included screws which offer at best 1/4" of thread into the wood of the hung product. Once you get past the 1/4" depth of "useful" thread, there is both the concern that the screw is both very narrow and has proportionally small threads to actually do the gripping of the hung item - so effectively the provided screws offer 1/4" of poor thread. I will consider using more appropriate screws - such as actual wood screws - but this means that I have to drill out the tiny holes in the hanger and then cut the angled surface back into the plate so that the screw heads will settle appropriately into place. I would have gladly paid more for a better product if the marketing team that posted this product hadn't failed the consumer so miserably. These screws would be useful were I securing the hangars to pre-drilled aluminum, but not for commonly hung materials. Do not purchase.

Great product. Used them on a shelf, it looks like the shelf has no support. Just what I bought the product for.
