So happy I found this bracket! It is sturdy- the coating looks like it will weather well, and I esp. like how far it extends. I had a 12 inch bracket (started dusting in days!) that the squirrels laughed at- but they can’t reach now! Love it!

This is exactly what I was looking for!! My patio is only partially covered and so it became an issue when I wanted to hang up string patio lights. I was able to use this bracket to attach the lights so that I didn't have to buy/build a light pole or plant a tall tree to attach lights to. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because one of the screws is really hard to get to and so if you are trying to install it yourself it takes a bit of effort since the bracket is pretty heavy. I'm a 5'5 female and was able to hang it by myself so it of course isn't impossible by any means, just a little frustrating. Overall I absolutely love it!! Since I'm only handing string lights from it, I can't say anything about how it holds up to heavy weighted plants. But for my needs it was perfect and holding up very nicely

1. They came with very tiny short screws that wouldn't even hold its own weight. Be ready to buy new screws & for that reason you will have to create bigger opening for the screw to go through.2. They are not welded properly. Metals barely touching each other. For that reason they are coming apart easily.Originally 1 came broken, it took me days to convince customer service to send a replacement & threaten with bad review. Later on another 1 broke, I fix it myself. Yesterday this one broke & customer service said i had 14 days for broken return, so they will not do anything about it. What are the chances of something breaking with in 14 days..... so be ready for " zero " return policy.At this point I will have to re-weld all of them, not to have more issues. So basically you are paying for raw materials, since everything needs to be redone. They are to expensive to begin with, expect to spend another $25 to get them right.

I attached it to my exterior wall stud with 2x 5/16 x 3-1/2” Spax grade 5 lag screws. Hung a 18” dia x 12” high plastic hanging planter. About 40-50 Lbs. The hook bent down about 4” and bounces. I have 4 stars all around because I’m extremely nervous that this wall hanger can fail. I love the product but not sure it will hold up.UPDATE: This pretty bracket didn’t even last a year. One of the two curved braces that is welded to the wall plate broke at the sharp bend right at the weld. What a disappointment. Now I have to find someone to re-weld all current welds prone to failure. My guess was right in my original product review and like others noted as well. Pretty design but very poor execution.

Over time we have purchased four of these beautiful hooks, some for birdfeeders, one for a huge set of wind chimes. The hooks are very sturdy and hold a lot of weight. We especially like that they extend 24”. We suggest longer screws, however.

You will need different mounting screws than the ones that come with it. They are not sufficient to hang something of this weight. It is perfect for large items—plants, etc. I used mine for a disco ball that is 18” wide.

Beautiful, sturdy enough for a large bird feeder, and long enough that the squirrels can't reach it. Use longer screws when hanging.
