Everlast Speed Bag 9X6 (4241)

I've read reviews about this bag prior to purchasing it... although there were many reviews about the poor quality of the bag (bag being unbalanced, bad badder, Bladder loosing air) I have found the bag to be exceptional as a larger bag then what I'm used to working with. My primary bag is an Everlast 6" Black & Yellow peanut. I've mixing in this new Everlast Elite Leather Speed Bag into my workouts at the gym and allowing other boxers to work it. The bag is fast, well balanced and doesn't lose air any faster then bags I've had for years. All I can say for those people that are having trouble with the bladder. BE SURE YOU WET THE NEEDLE ON THE AIR PUMP BEFORE INSERTING IT INTO THE THE BLADDER. ONLY FILL THE BAG UNTIL IT'S FIRM WITH SOME ABILITY TO SQUEEZE IT ... WHICH WILL BE LESS THEN THE MAX LIMIT OF 10PSI and you will find this to be an excellent bag for it's size and shape. with no issues.

Good little brother to the 7x10 by Everlast. Requires a little more precise hit,to be expected. Rebounds very nicely,will go as fast as you can with less effort. If you want to sweat,just hit it faster and longer. 5lbs. is good air pressure for this one,6lbs. makes it to hard on the hands,especially if you're not wearing hand protection,and if you're not,keep your hands moving because the rebounding bag will skin your knuckles if you don't get them out of the way. This bag is comfortable enough to hit bare handed. I won't even say that this bag is very good for the money,this bag is good at any price,it just happens to be reasonably priced. All bags lose a little air over time,don't let that be an issue for you,it's no big deal. I have many bags from different manufacturers and they all need attention once in a while. This is a good bag,makes you feel like a pro. Keep the rythum. OBB.

If you're not excellent with your medium size speed bag you're not ready for this one. It's lightning fast and very small, made for the highly trained professional athlete

The media could not be loaded. First day I purchased the speed Bag I wanted to test out the quality and response. Here you will see me beating the speed bag to you can see the response and accuracy. It is genuine leather and the bag can Take a beating. Leave me a response of you have questions. It's a smaller speed bag, which i preferred. It requires you to be faster at hitting the bag. It did not develop any lumps and the bags stays relatively accurate in the response of the direction on hitting the bag. If your a beginner, it may take awhile for you to hit the bag as fast as I am in the video, which is not the fastest I can hit it. But saying, this is a smaller bag so it requires you to be pretty quick. Note: air needs to be added right before use each time, but to be fair I do beat on it pretty good.Get one, this is great quality, and the video shows me Beating on the bag, months later, its still in great condition, no rips, tears or lumps, unlike the canvas bag i had.

I am so impressed with this bag. For the last 5 or 6 years I had another bag I bought from Amazon.com .... both are the9" bag and the last one said it was gyro balanced and when I got it I was disappointed it was kind of slow so I just chalked off to me being older but still using a heavy bag and a speed bag for hand to eye coordination. It's good for the arms and hands as one ages.Then a week or so ago I damaged the re-fill valve on the other bag and had to order a new one. I decided on this Everlast bag (medium which means it is a 9" bag and was grudgingly putting it up (for screwing up the other bag with the refill needle) and then when I hit it the ball went three times in the time the other ball would go one. Wow, maybe I'm not getting so old after all. lol It's a shame I went 5 or 6 years hitting a dud.The Everlast is "fun" again. Obviously the designers have their heads on and figured out the perfect length, thickness of leather and bladder.Hats off to them and the fun they can give people who just want to keep a better reflex and tone.Have a wonderful day Everlast.

I received this speed bag on April 9, 2020. It failed on July 11, 2020. the webbing that holds the bag to the swivel completely ripped away from the bag. My son is a complete beginner, not particularly strong and definitely not a heavy weight. Pictures show failures of rivets and stitching to hold together. Either poor materials or poor manufacturing. I am looking into a refund. Definitely will not buy the same model (4241), maybe not buy an Everlast product.Update as of 25Jul20: I emailed Everlast stating my disappointment about the bag failure. I got a response on the next business day assuring me they would send out a replacement that day and I should expect delivery in 5-7 business days. It arrived on the 7th day. we installed it on the following day 22Jul2020. So far so good...I would say if you have proof of purchase and are within the 120 day warranty, email them they may send a replacement. I upped my rating from 1 to 2 stars for good customer service, but the product quality keeps me from giving it more, since this strap failure has happened to many other customer

My last Everlast lasted for many years before the skin started flaking (was not leather). I only get 5 minutes in each day and this little guy has been working great and I am hoping the leather will last longer.

Been using the bag for a few weeks. Really put the beating on it at times. Just can't seem to keep the air up enough to stay really firm, so it doesn't bounce back as well as I'd like. The positive side to that is it requires more energy and thus burn more calories. The bag is fairly good at maintaining a straight bounce so it doesn't require a lot of work to keep the rhythm but it is frustrating when it happens to bounce funny and takes a few extra hits just to bring it back on track. Although it feels like leather, the bag is showing signs of wear far earlier than expected. You'd think it was several months old when it really is maybe 5-6 weeks. If it breaks down or fails soon, I'll update the post. Meanwhile, I'll be looking for a more durable one to purchase in the future.

Good quality. After couple of months still no wear or tear. Use it 2-3 days a week. 30min each time. Recommend it for little more experienced users. Medium fast bounce.

Bjr.J'ai acheté cette poire afin de remplacer celle d'origine sur mon plateau suspendu, car cette dernière était plus grosse, donc procurant des rebonds moins rapides.Celle-ci rempli parfaitement son rôle.Belle qualité.Je l'utilise de façon amateur.Bon entraînement.

Even tough it is pictured, swivel is not included.Other that that, good product.
