Bought this for my girlfriend
Got it for my girlfriend for her birthday and she loves it, but i think i love it more than she does honestly lol its a perfect around the neighborhood or small town scooter with decent battery life. 16mph too speed. Doesnt seem to go any faster even when going down hill. (Not that thats a bad thing). Awesome purchase and would recommend to anyone

It is easy to drive and comfy
It came on time. Easy to assemble and drive. The only thing is we were missing screws to attach the seat. When we tried to call the Amazon, we were told to return the scooter which is not easy to do.. it is heavy and we already assembled whole thing..

Don't buy but if you have to, keep your box for a while for return
Heavy 1 Alpha Cargo arrived with a rear tire that doesn't keep air. Unfortunately Heavy 1 doesn't carry replacement tire/wheels for this model nor is their customer service competent enough to direct you somewhere to get a replacement after telling you to check their store where you will find that they don't carry any spare tires/wheels for the Alpha Cargo.I'm sure this is self fixable but is buying new products that arrive broken to fix ourselves the norm?Other reviewers mentioned issues with keeping the seat at a specific level. I've experienced same, you can move the seat up and down but you're going to have to figure out something to secure it at that level.Of course make sure you keep your already battered boxes lying around for the return shipment for products of this size for your 30 day return window.Just do yourself a favor and don't buy anything from this brand. Waste of time and effort.

Hover1 cargo electric scooter
The scooter looks really good. Was easy to put together. It is fun to drive. My wife used it to get around the area without any problems. The performance of the scooter is excellent for her . It was a great value for the price it was purchased for. 4 speed modes is an excellent feature.Having a basket was also nice.So far my wife loves the scooter.Only Bad :It did not come with the correct Allen key to tighten the seat in place but I had one from other items I had put together in the past.

Mixed Feelings about this one
I will say that I have now tried 3 different scooters, all similar sizes at this same price point, so I am coming from a little bit of knowledge here about what to expect. This scooter has some great features, but also some pretty significant shortcomings.I really wanted to like it.For the positives- It has a nice wide platform, with really nice grip. It doesn't seem to take up any more space than the other ones, but it has more useful space to stand. You can stand comfortably with both feet next to each other. And, there is cruise control. Those two features make this the most comfortable ride out of all of them, as long as you are going on a smooth road. It's fairly easy to operate and to ride. But the drawbacks- battery life is not great, it gets only about half as far as it claims, and that's without running the speakers (which, by the way, might seem like a good idea, but they are average at best and annoying in reality, and would have been better to have just been left out entirely). The build isn't great, it has one bolt that just won't go in straight no matter what, and the clip that holds it together when it's folded for storage is just an add on piece to the handlebar that looks like an afterthought. It doesn't have any sort of suspension, so you feel every bump and lump along the way.I actually had to return the first one I got because of several issues right out the box. I am glad I did because that would have been a much worse review. But, the replacement was much better and I can give it a serious 3.4 stars at this point. I just wish it was better because I love the wide platform and cruise control, and would love some more power and battery life to go along with it.

Quality budget scooter with some limitations
Hover 1 is a rising star of the electric scooter world known for quality products. This new Alpha 2.0 is designed to balance price and performance and I predict it will be even more popular than its predecessor. What I liked:- Scooter is quite fast, definitely faster than many similar products.- It is very easy to balance -- thick wheels and wide deck make it possible.- The frame is made of light alloy and the scooter is overall quite light (39 lbs).- Folding is super-easy and it fits in a trunk of a small sedan.- The scooter is UL-tested and certified, which means that it is unlikely to set your house on fire.- Brakes redesigned from version 1, they are much better, and brakes are regenerative.- Well-known manufacturer that offers warranty.Limitations:- 450W peak motor is not much power. The benefit is that the motor is not very heavy, but the disadvantage is that the scooter cannot climb steep hills.- 12 mile range is exaggeration. It can theoretically run for 12 miles on a flat road in eco mode (5 mph max). Expect 7-9 miles range if you drive normally.- I was hoping I could use it around the office, but the scooter is a bit too large for that. It is definitely for the outside.Bells and whistles:- In my opinion, a scooter needs neither bluetooth speaker nor an app. Alpha 2.0 comes with both. The speaker is not loud and sound quality is not very good. You can barely hear it among street noise.- Hover light.... Really not needed, has no practical value, and just drains the battery. A better front light and side markers instead of reflectors would have been way more useful.Overall -- it is a quality product that is very attractively priced. I recommend it.
