Pretty good all round
Have just baked these scones and eaten one when cooled with cream and jam. Quite delicious. Flavour is good (slightly wholemeal taste) as is the texture. Didn’t rise as much as my conventional recipe and they are wet when they go in the oven so can’t be cut with a cookie cutter. That said, it was a good tasting scone if not quite top in looks. I didn’t follow the directions exactly but rubbed unmelted butter into the ‘flour’ mix in the normal way and warmed my milk briefly with a squeeze of lemon to ‘turn’ it. I also added about a teaspoon of vanilla essence. But for a gluten free scone I would certainly use this mix again. I got 10 decent sized scones from the pack.

Not bad for gluten free
These are good if you are short on time (and energy!) and just need some scones. I add sultanas to mine as I like fruit scones. The texture is more akin to a rock cake but they taste very good. I find it difficult to make them into a scone shape and often simply put then into a muffin tray to help them keep their shape better. I agree with other reviewers that you need to eat these on the day they are made and that they are best served warm. They may not be as good as homemade from scratch but they are very easy to make so the choice is yours!

Excellent but Way Overpriced!!!
First the good news - these scones are quick and easy to make and a good product to keep in the store cupboard. My wife is coeliac and rates these scones highly. As a non-coeliac I think think these scones are excellent and it is good to find a bakery product that we can both enjoy! Now the bad news - the price! For the cost of two packs on Amazon, I can buy five - yes FIVE - from Waitrose and have some change! My rating is 5-stars for taste and quality but ZERO-stars for value - hence my slightly generous 2-stars overall.

A real treat in store with this product.
Wow, what a treat. Looked, smelt and tasted just like scones baked with wheat flour. My gluten free friend was so impressed and they stayed moist. I earned some "brownie points" by producing these scones. Well worth it.

I baked these in patty pans as they kept the shape better. Best when mix is soft.
Tasted like a scone, but didn’t look like one!

A very good mix
I made half plain and half fruit scones and they were both good

Don't waste your money
Not very nice at all, they were just about edible straight out of the oven but when cold were not nice at all. I wish I had not wasted my money.

Disappointing
Do not resemble scones at all can’t be shaped just a gooey blob on the baking mat more like a rock bun.
