I spent TWO HOURS trying to find an extension lead for the Echo Dot 4th Generation with Clock. Lots of listings promise it but fail to deliver. I ordered this one and can confirm it works perfectly. The fit is solid at each end of the extension cable. If they were smart they'd update the product title to be clearer about the compatibility with these more recent devices.A tip = be sure not to push the power cord into the audio port by mistake, which looks and is sized almost exactly the same and isn't clearly labelled when nothing is plugged in. A design flaw, in my opinion. I've done that on two different devices and it breaks the audio jack port.

Bought to extend the power cable of my recent Echo Dot (3rd Gen) purchase (the power cable is unacceptably short). The extension cable fits perfectly to both the power cable outlet and to the Echo Dot (3rd gen) inlet. My Echo Dot is now re-sited (t the top of the bookcase). The power cable is now exceptionally long (the extension is 3m long) but it gives me options to move the Echo Dot to other areas if I need to. In spite of the long length of the extension cable I'm very pleased to be able to move my Echo Dot so I'd highly recommend this if you need to extend the distance of your Echo Dot (3rd Gen) from your power source / wall socket.

I'll almost never forgive Amazon for changing the power input port for the 3rd Gen Dot from the micro-USB connector to the new one, but Meres come to the rescue with this decent extension lead that means I can now plug in to where I have to, but have the flexibility to have my Dot where I need it. Shame it doesn't come in any other colour than black; Meres, if you ever do a white one, send one my way?

Exactly what I was looking for to place echo where I wanted..wire not too thick and was easily run along top of kitchen skirting.Good connection to existing power cable. Maybe a little pricey?.. Maybe this is the going to rate for this type of thing .Dunno. Has done the job and would recommend.

We have used this cable extension so we could run the power for an Echo Dot into our bathroom, the cable is ideal and thin enough to run under the carpet/door frame.

Very useful for extending the range of yoir Alexa. Works erfectly. Deliveredon time.
