I've had coiled locks before, but this is the next level. Very intuitive to set the passcode, you don't need a key or anything else that you can lose. The only way to change the passcode is if the lock is open. In the past, the non-lock side of the cable was just as large as the lock side. On this lock, the non-combo side is just about as thick as the cable. This means if you are trying to get the cable into a smaller space, like a scooter tire, you can easily get it through without any trouble. I recommend this product.

Most bike locks I've used in the past were barely long enough to reach the rack. At 15 feet long, with this one I can lock several bikes at once, which will be helpful with the kids' bikes. No instructions are included, but the lock is labeled with how to set your own combination and it was quite easy to do. The dials are a bit stiff and have a firm click in each position. I have large hands and struggled to turn just one at a time, but that's typical for me.

This is a heavy cable lock. It's covered in a clear plastic sleeve. So it won't damage whatever you put it around. The combination lock is easy to set. Super easy and convenient not having to have a key. We use this with out RV. We can lock up anything from our grill to our chairs. The uses are endless. The weather doesn't harm it. Glad we got it. Gives us some peace of mind when leaving things outside our trailer.
