!!!MUST REGREASE WITH AN AMPLE AMOUNT OF QUALITY GREASE!!!
The bearings appear to be made ok , i bought them for the lower mower deck cap stand bearings for my snapper ST1946 tractor. These bearings are made in China as with anything made by China they have some issues right out the gate and will take a few bucks to make right or at least better. Here is the problem The bearings appear to have grease that looks an aweful lot like Vaseline petroleum jelly and not enough of it at that, Vaseline isn't good grease for something highspeed like a cassette bearing and provides little to no protection against water intrusion or rust corrosion. I you fail to remedy this problem now your bearings will not last! What you will need to do when you buy these bearings is buy a small tub of heavy duty (high heat) wheel bearing grease for a car. You will need a stiff pick or a ultra fine screw driver to pick off the rubber seal being careful not to bend it, a gentle touch is good you should not have to force it, just a gentle nudge and it will pop out, set the seal aside, then wipe the Vaseline like grease out of the inside of the bearing with a clean rag or paper towel. Repack the bearing with the wheel bearing grease, use a generous amount and make sure the entire inside of the bearing is covered in grease, give it a few slow spinns to varify it is fully covered, the grease not only lubs the bearing but it helps remove frictional heat to the case the bearing rides in helping it stay cool... After you do this reinstall the rubber seal cover thing carefully as it should just pop in place, agian be careful not to bend it. Your bearing is now properly greased and is ready to install. If the bearing would have had a dallop of quality grease I would have gave it a much higher rating but you oay for what you get. 5 extra minutes fixing the problem before it arises will save hours of work later when the bearing would normally fail due to a lack of quality lubrication.I hope this helps everyone who buys Chinesium bearings... Always grease them, never trust them out of the packaging.

needs real grease
these come packed with what i assume is vaseline, if you plan to use them under a real constant load they will require the shields to be removed and repacked with a moly or graphite grease. they came in a plastic tube that keeps them all together to prevent loss and is reclosable. you get 10 of these for the price of 1 high quality bearing, expect things like needing real grease before use. the side shields are rubber coated metal and easier to pop off than a high quality version...i assume so you can do it before use.

Not well lubricated, repack before use!
I purchased these to replace the lower bearings in my mower blade towers. These appear to be good quality bearings, but they are very poorly lubricated. They arrived in a box containing 10 small individual boxes that each contain 1 bearing in a small plastic bag. I went ahead and purchased these after reading reviews about the lubrication, so I carefully removed the grease seals to find almost no lubrication, and what there was appeared to be petroleum jelly. I cleaned out what was there, and packed the bearings with a full synthetic moly grease for wheel bearings and CV joints, then re-installed the seals. These should now last a very long time. Time will tell.

Good bearings and great price.
Bought these to replace the spindle bearings on a 46” MTD lawn tractor cutting deck (three blades, so I needed six bearings). They fit perfectly and run smooth. When I started the blades on the first use, it was so quiet I thought something was wrong. One star off for imported, as usual.

Worked great for my cub cadet ltx1040
Worked great for my cub cadet ltx1040. Much cheaper than buying the whole spindle and was very easy to rebuild them with these bearings.

Just as good as OEM
These bearings are to repair the spindles on a mower deck I purchased 19years ago.I like to keep enough on the shelf for future repairs when needed. The items (10) were purchased for nearly the same price for two bearings at my local dealer. This is the second purchase of these bearings as I have six spindles for my 20 year old mower deck. If and when a bearing goes bad, I pull the three off and put the other three on. Then I replace the bearings on all three spindles on the deck. Saves a lot of time and money since I get 10 bearings for the price of 2 from the local repair shop. And I receive the bearings within 48 hours after ordered

Inexpensive fix for my lawnmower deck spindles
Pre-lubricated and sealed on both sides. I have read reviews where people popped the seals out, cleaned the lube out, "packed" the bearings with new grease, and expected phenomenal results. Good luck with that. Too much grease (packed) is almost as bad as too little grease. Don't take my word for it. Go to any major bearing manufacturer's or industrial reliability website.

Easy install with PVC coupling or paint roller
Fits my older Yard Machine riding mower blade spindles. Installation tip. Plastic PVC coupling worked fine as something to contact only outer part of bearing on side that is installed flash(tapping on it with a hammer). PvC coupling wouldn't go below flush for the other side. Paint roller worked fine for the other side. Installed as lubricated from the factory. Will see how long they last. Easy to install.
