Very shiny
I got this feeder to replace one that was similar. The older one had a deeper bottom rim and it would hold moisture for rain and heavy dew and rusted. I tried putting suet pellets on the bottom of it but the seed still would get wet. This feeder worked great. It is the same size and the bottom is shallower so water doesn’t sit in it and soak any seeds. The top latch is secure and I haven’t had any squirrel issues with it I feed them too so it’s not like they are scavenging for food. The only thing I noticed is the birds were a little shy of how shiny it was. I moved it to a different location and once one was brave enough to get food out of it, they all quickly decided to go eat. I am back to filling it daily like the old feeder it replaced. Overall it seems like a decent feeder and works well to replace the rusty one I no longer will use.

Round green top cap broke up and plastic tube crack
The little green round metal cap top broke off. The squirrels could not get in it which was good, but the grackles couldn’t reach their beaks in and it scared the other birds away. I wasn’t crazy about the quality because of how the green round top cap broke off and the inside round plastic round tube cracked near the bottom.Update: the company has sent me a brand new package at no charge. I have not put this bird feeder up yet.I am grateful they sent a new one. Hopefully it will not have the same problems.

Just like the rest - UPDATE...
UPDATE: The sellers have contacted me to try and right this for me which I feel is awesome. They have offered me a discount which I have declined. Not for a bad reason. I have decided to keep the feeders as the other birds really enjoy them. They are of good quality and easy to fill and the lid does not flop off it snaps which is a good thing. The grackles (black birds) have seemed to be leaving it alone now. I did put a slinky on my stand so the chipmunks can no longer get to them. So I am changing my rating to 5 stars. Customer service is wonderful to work with and Thank You again for your kind offer.Read all the reviews watched all the videos so decided to give this one a try as I have lots of black birds who just love to feast at my feeders and leave nothing for the others. Unfortunately the black birds love this one just as well as my other feeders. So this one is no different than the rest of my feeders except it does look nice on the hook.

Nice, just not enough storage capacity
I was experiencing a large influx of bully birds. I purchased a couple of the Gray Bunny Wild Bird Feeders Squirrel Proof for Outside Hanging, 1.25 lb Capacity based on the large number of reviews. That birdfeeder ended up being too narrow in diameter, which allowed the bully birds to hang on the outside and reach their head through to retrieve bird seed. I ended up purchasing a Mosloly Caged Bird Feeders Squirrel-Proof, Metal, 2.8Lbs Capacity feeder instead and completely solved that problem. The larger outer diameter of the Mosloly cage keeps the bully birds far enough away from the seed (maniacal as it may seem, it is fun to see the bully birds keep trying). The Gray Bunny feeder is very well-made with heavy duty metal. As you can see from the numbers above, the seed capacity is double on the Mosloly feeder, which is excellent. I’m not having to refill the Mosloly feeder every day and a half like the Gray Bunny. Refilling this feeder is easy with the pop-up lid. Little birds are happy and bully birds…..not so much!

Keeps out squirrels and big birds
I got this because it was advertised as Big bird resistant. I have lots of finches and sparrows and other small wild birds and one nervy squirrel who just now discovered how to jump on the shepards hook (I now have a baffle). I have lots of feeders in two areas of my yard with different kinds of seed for different birds. Suddenly I saw a pair of black birds eating out one of my feeders and soon became a flock. Same with starlings, etc. I have several feeders and the big birds figured out how to eat from the tube feeders so I thought I’d try this. Worked just as I hoped. Big birds can’t get through the medal except on nervy one who got through but couldn’t figure out how to perch on one arm and twist around to get to one around the other side, the only way they ever used tube feeders. Allows the woodpeckers to feed (yeah.,) because they don’t perch, they hang from a surface so they hang on the cage and their long bills allow them to access the seed. Starlings, blackbirds and cowbirds are now gone and took less than a week to figure out they weren’t being fed.

Too small for my birds
I ordered this to keep the squirrels out of my feeder, and this one does. Bad thing is....it is keeping the birds out, too ! I filled it with seed 2 weeks ago, and it is still full. Apparently my birds are too big to get inside the wires, or they can't figure out what to do to get to the seed. I will give it to somebody I know who has a lot of birds, and maybe it will work for her.

Its keeping squirrels and starlings out!
My first thought was that it wasn't terribly sturdy and that the little birds couldn't get in to sit in on the perches inside the wire fence, as the open areas between wires are too small. But within a day or two, the finches and chickadees learned to perch on the wire "fence" and reach into the feeding ports and they are using the feeder constantly. But for some reason the starlings can't figure this out, or are too heavy or something, but they can't feed from it and empty it twice a day like they were doing with the old feeder. BIG sucess! And so far the neighborhood squirrels are leaving it alone, so I'm pretty pleased. For the price, its very satisfactory.

Not Sure
The product may be an OK value, but it seemed flimsy. We're also not sure about quality control. When we got ours and opened the package, the top wouldn't close and seal, which would let in rainwater. There was also a missing part and a spring that seemed out of place. We also noticed there were no drainage holes. We decided to return and "spring" for a better-quality squirrel-proof feeder.6/13 update: We received our refund from Amazon for the above and we bought a better-quality feeder. Because we had returned the Gray Bunny feeder and had written the above review, a customer service rep from the Accelerator Store (seller of the Gray Bunny feeder) reached out to us and sent us a free small window feeder from their product line. That was a classy move and we appreciate it. I'd give the seller, if not the feeder that we bought from them, 5 stars.

Keeps squirrels out
We bought it to keep squirrels and large birds out. The big birds can still get the food but not easily

good quality for money
It's hanging in the tree outside the window to easily watch the birds. I love the new color.

Great buy!
I can't understand the negative reviews left for this, especially the ones that claim it is flimsy and that squirrels will be able to prise off the lid. The metal cage and the tube are both very sturdy and well made and the lid fits so tightly that I had to use some force to open it. I have many varieties of small birds in my garden and lately a squirrel has been visiting every day and eating lots of the sunflower seeds that I filled my old feeder with. About an hour ago, I put up the new feeder - the birds found it very quickly and soon found that they could get inside the cage. Then the squirrel arrived. He tried every way he could think of to get at the seeds and after a few minutes, hs gave up, returning a bit later for another try and this time gave up very quickly. I know others have said that a squirrel will always find a way in, so I'm being realistic about it, but so far, so very good!

Well built.
Good quality feeder however small parrots manage to hang onto the cage and pock their head through to get a feed. I fixed the problem by fitting extra wires. Smaller birds love it.

Disappointed
