A6/A4/A3 Thermal Laminator, Laminating Machine with Two Roller System, Jam-Release Switch and Automatic Shut off Function, Fast Warm-up, Quick Laminating Speed, for Home, Office and School

I got this laminator for use on multiple projects at home. It's a bit pricey for something to use at home, but for the use I'm going to put it to, it will pay for itself several times over compared to the frustration of self-adhesive laminating pouches (I've used in the past), or having to pay one of the box stores like Kinkos, Fed-Ex, or UPS store to do it for me.For home use, you can use it for loads of stuff, ranging from kids projects, photos, recipe cards/sheets, emergency address/contacts lists for kids to keep in their backpacks, etc. I also use it for role playing game character sheets, as these can get destroyed by constant erasing of things like hit points, AC, etc. Laminating the document allows you to use dry or wet-erase markers for things like this, saving the sheet.I like the fact that it has the simplest controls on it. If you're using 3, 4, or 5 mil pouches, you simply press that button on the front, and the unit automatically adjusts its settings. I have done several 8.5"x11" 3mil laminations, and they all took roughly 45 seconds from inserting the page to removing it. Obviously, it will take longer for thicker pouches, but since all of mine are 3 mil, I couldn't test that part.The only sticking point I have on this unit is the price. For the average person who only laminates a few things a year, it's probably not really worth the cost. If you're a teacher, a parent who wants to protect things your kids make, or just a handy person at home, then this is for you.Sarki provided me with one of these for my unbiased review. The fact that they sent it to me in no way affects my opinion on this. If a product is crap, I'll let you know about it. Check my other reviews. In fact, I had to spend $25 of my own money to purchase the pouches, because I knew I would use them.

Sarki A3 (and A4 & A6) laminator looks great and functions as it supposed to. This is my first laminator; so, I can't really compare with others. I am glad I was able to laminate a few items without really reading the manual because the manual is woefully insufficient (although it does say the buyers should read it thoroughly before using the machine). The manual, in five different languages, does not describe what each button is for. Three buttons for 3-mil, 4-mil, and 5-mil are NOT discussed; how does an operator know which button to use? How thick an item can I laminate? The manual does not say, in layman's terms (e.g., "up to three sheets of average weight of copy papers). I am just grateful the machine is working fine now, but, I don't know what type of usage may damage the rollers in the future (e.g., if I were to laminate an autumn leaf with bright red/yellow foliage, would the stem of that leaf damage the rollers such that subsequently inserted thin paper lamination will not be pulled/rolled through properly?) Sarki needs to update their manual, for sure. The manual has a misspelling, does not mention A6 size capability (even though it can), and "Sarki" is not mentioned anywhere in the document.

Well it’s a beautiful looking laminator so it has that going for it. I used it the first time and it worked perfectly. Second time no problems. Third time I turned away to do something else. When I came back I couldn’t find my sheet. I searched the floor thinking it flew somewhere. I interrogated my dog momo to see if my 2.5 lb chihuahua sabotaged me. I then decided to run something else and right before my eyes it went in one end and never came out the other!!! The good news I was able to unscrew the cover and mess with it. I had to use a knife and pliers to remove the wrapped sheets. After I put it back together I was able to resume using it. Moral of the story. It’s a beautiful laminator just don’t trust it alone!!! It tries to frame your dog!!!!

I received this product in exchange for a fair and honest review. This is a decent laminator. It works well but there are others out there that are much cheaper that do the same thing. I was a little disappointed that there weren't sample laminating pouches included in this price. I have purchased cheaper laminators that have come with samples. It is a little high priced for me. If you don't care about price then this is a great product and will work well for you. If you are tight on money like my family is, then I would try a different prodcut! :)

Initially, I was impressed with the ease of use and quality of the laminated papers, pictures and cards. Having being utilized for only two weeks, the unit was returned to the original box and placed on the shelf..... that was a several months ago and now that it is needed again, the unit does not turn on after the initial self-test when first powered up. If you purchase one of these laminators, please consider using it weekly to make sure that it is still functioning when you actually need it. I would have rated the unit higher on the "Value for money" but not working when I finally need it really altered my perception.

This is laminator is great! It is easy to use and super portable! It is awesome for office or personal use!The only thing to keep in mind when buying this item is that it does not come with sheets or pockets of laminate. From what I can see online, most other laminators do not come with laminate either, but I was assuming it would include them. But when I bought some to test the product it worked well!

First I will write about what I like. I like the modern looking design, the nice carrying handle but that's about it. I was very disappointed when the edges of my project were all bent and crooked even though I made sure it went in evenly and nicely. I have no way of adjusting the temperature or knowing when it is too hot. The manual doesn't even tell you what the buttons are for and there is no mention of cold laminating. It doesn't mention the jam release switch either. There were also air bubbles in my projects that wouldn't go away even after putting it through the laminator again. I had a Xerox laminator for many years that worked great and I am still sad that I had to finally replace it. I wish I had done more research and bought a different one. Will have to see how the customer service is for this one. If that sucks, too, then I really regret buying this machine.
