KitchenCraftProfessional Stainless Steel Garlic Crusher, 20.5 cm (8")

It's a garlic press, it presses garlic. It was fairly cheap. I chose this one because it is actually stainless steel as opposed to one of the softer metals and I was replacing a 28 year old Brabantia one that was stainless steel. It is a little fiddly to clean and I don't find it as sharp as my old one. I also find it quite annoying that there is no stop on the opening of the device. My old one opened up to 90 degrees which made it easier to open, hold with one hand and put another clove in. This one opens right out to 180 which if you pick it up by the wrong handle it opens right out and the insert drops out. Get what you pay for.

Absolutely love this garlic press. Easy to use and so easy to clean, as it has a seperate bit that comes out so you can remove the skin left over and wash it.

These are a replacement for a set exactly the same that I had had for many years. I was really pleased to find they were still exactly the same as it took years to find a satisfactory set of garlic crushers that were easy to use and easy to clean either by hand or in the dishwasher.
