My Dachshund absolutely loves the salmon and sweet potato flavor of these Protexin Daily Care chews—he thinks they’re treats! I don’t know if the chew was tasty or not, but apparently my dog, Ivan, thought it was. He gobbled each chew I gave him. So if he likes it, I like it.

My cats and dogs love these! They fight for them. After having them on it for a month I am not sure if I see any difference in their stools. So I can't say it works or it doesn't work. I am undecided but since they love them I think I will give it another month try.

It helps in my quest for perfect poops in my dogs. I don't think there's anything that isn't beneficial.

We got three flavors of this brand. It looks like it is filled with good ingredients. We have a Boxer and a Boston Terrier so we're always on the lookout for treats with probiotics.Gut Immunity: Shaped like little hearts. Looked good, a little soft. They ate these up.Gut Digestive: not sure we saw a difference in digestion. This one was really hard. Our Boston didn't care for this at all.Calming: we really wanted to try this since our lab mix and boxer has anxiety. She turned her nose up at it, which wasn't surprising since she's a treat snob, so her opinion doesn't matter here. Our boxer who normally eats anything, didn't touch this. If you can see in the picture, it looks dryer than the other two. It was super crumbly. Mightve been old stock, but none of our dogs bothered. Straight to compost.We'll stick with our tried and true brand from now on.

I had a duck product before, and my dog went wild for it, so when I saw that there was a probiotic product with the same flavor, I grabbed it. Be prepared, however. This product has a mess of ingredients, including any number of vitamins (lots of B's, A, D & E) as well as a whole assortment of pro and post-biotics. The probiotics (Bacillus subtiles and Enterococcus faecium PXN) are live microorganisms, and the postbiotics are inactivated microorganisms (Bifidobacterium longum and animalis). I know it would all look more official if I italicized the right bits, but you get the point. They have put several microorganisms into this product to encourage a healthy microbiome in your pet, and some of the names look similar to what I've taken as probiotics before, too. There are also other good things in these chews like salmon oil and glucosamine, which I see in lots of products for joint health. I assume the taste comes from the Carrots, Duck fat, and sweet potato, although there's some garbanzo & tapioca flour in here too, probably as a binder. Basically, they used a bunch of ingredients to put this treat together for your pet. But the upshot is, my dog enjoys them, they are soft chews which are easy on his older teeth, and I haven't seen any adverse intestinal reactions since he's started taking them. All those are good things. Also, it doesn't smell awful when I open the bag, which is also a plus. They have several other formulations, so if your pup does not enjoy duck but prefers chicken, I think they have a mix for that too. Long story short, I'm happy with these treats and glad they will do my pup some good. Older pets sometimes need a little help keeping well.

Very dissatisfied that these have arrived 3 times in powdered form. My dog will not eat in crumbles, only chew form.
