For someone on bedrest, this is a gamechanger. It's a perfect size, shape and weight to be portable and to be comfortable in any position you could use your laptop in. It's a really comfortable height/angle for hands to type, too. The bottom is filled with microbeads that reshape to whatever form needed, so it sits flat on the sheets and doesn't slide, and also conforms to your lap perfectly. (My laptop doesn't slide around on it easily, either.) The slot for the phone and the elastic on the corner to hold papers, etc. in place are just icing on the cake. Also, it's available in so many different colors and styles, so it looks great, too. Very well thought out and very well made.

This is the perfect lap desk for me! The bean bag base is sturdy but also soft enough to mold to my legs however I'm sitting (incl. with crossed legs) to keep the desk surface flat. I like the barrier at the bottom to keep my laptop from slipping off, and the trough at the top is great for my phone, pens, etc.The real reason I bought it however...it matches perfectly with the pillows I have for the couch. When not in use, I can prop it up between the armrest and the wall and it blends in and doesn't look like clutter, which is especially great in our small space. So glad I found a lap desk that was functional AND cute.-Elana

Great device for those who like to work away from a desk. Keeps you cooler than having the laptop directly on your lap, and it great as a writing surface.Could possibly have been improved if the cushion under the hard surface was a bit more meshy and breathable as the lap can get warm when used when the weather is hot.

I got this product for my mother for Christmas and she absolutely loves it.It has a wonderful pattern for both the plush pillow and hard top. It feels smooth if not a little rough which is excellent for holding her laptop, dishes, and papers comfortably! It sits nice on her legs while she's in her chair and hopes it will help her with her school work in the future. It exceeded expectations!Pros: light weight, cute, portable, fair price, good size for a medium sized laptopCons: a little hard fabric for the underside, phone slot might not fight larger phones or tablets, a bit on the smaller side for a lap desk

I use this lap desk for so many things -- holding my iPad, book or magazine while I read, assorted writing tasks, sorting mail, and holding dishes for quick meals and snacks while watching TV. It is well made, lightweight, and attractive. The desk surface is easy to clean and just the right size for my use, plus there is a nice fabric handle that makes it easy to grab and a ledge to keep books from sliding down. I use the elastic strip on the corner to hold papers in place and occasionally uses the phone slot to hold my phone or small note pads. I chose the lap desk with the woodgrain surface and the blue arrow stripe fabric, and it looks great. This was a great replacement for my previous lap desk used for 20+ years.

I am very pregnant as you can maybe tell in the photo. I WFH usually using this collapsible desk with sled legs that I set up on the floor with my kneeling stool or use in the bed sometimes, but now it’s getting harder to move around& be comfortable. So I remembered this awesome lap desk I had before I gave it to my son. I can sit comfortably& use my 11.6 inch Chromebook with a small Bluetooth mouse easily, and it’s easy to move around& change positions to avoid back pain. I use the stretchy elastic strap on the corner to hold the TV remote bc I like to cast YouTube to the TV during the day. The phone slot holds my phone. It’s really convenient and at a good price. The beads are awesome to help you keep a level surface while customizing how you sit especially if you like to sit cross-legged or with one leg out& one in, or whatever. I ALSO can put this over my curved stationary bike handles and nestle it in place, I tested it for a 20 minute ride while browsing a bit. It stayed very steady, but I’d love to find a way to make the incline less steep for my wrists’ sake. iPad use/trackpad use is easy when on the bike with this, but it’s not a good angle for typing much. This desk isn’t made for that, so it’s not a detriment to the product, but it serves my diverse purposes well& that’s what I wanted to highlight.Nice product, I think maybe later on I’ll buy a wider one to fit my mousepad (I prefer the mousepad bc it has a wrist cushion) and give this one away.

I am very pleased with my new lap desk. The top is formed plastic with wood grain, not slick. The backing material is sturdy and the blue floral print is so pretty. The filling is made from tiny styrofoam pearls, like a beanbag chair. The phone slot is plenty wide enough to stand my phone on end. It would be nice if the slot was 1/4 to 1/2 inch longer to accommodate my thick rubbery Otterbox cover on my iPhone Pro Max (the larger phone), but it DOES fit sideways, just a bit snug. Some people complained about their book or laptop slipping over the bar at the bottom of the tray. If I find that is a problem (it isn’t a concern to me at all), I’ll just run up to The Dollar Tree and get a roll of that rubbery kitchen drawer liner or similar for rug slip, cut out a book-sized piece and voila! I highly recommend this lap desk. Perfect!
