LED Dog Necklace Collar - USB Rechargeable Loop - Available in 6 Colors - Makes Your Dog Visible, Safe & Seen (Red)

This is our first winter with our dog. We realised that it's impossible to see other pedestrians and their dogs while walking around our neighbourhood in the dark. Even though our dog is pure white we wanted him to be as visible as possible so got the LED collar listed (which seems to be the same collar from multiple sellers but this one had the right colour in stock on Prime delivery).Turning on/off is easy, as is recharging. I wish it didn't have the strobe features or at least remembered that you had it on solid colour last time it was on. I couldn't get the clip off to cut it shorter but he's quite large and poofy so the size is fine. It slips over his head and stays on.I was a little worried that the collar would be completely hidden under his long fur but the LEDs are strong enough to light up through the fur (the samoyed fur is translucent which probably helps).Can't comment on waterproofness but the control area has got plenty wet from rain and dew and is still functional.Collar seems to be average quality but don't expect it to last forever. If it lasted past a year before breaking I'd probably just get another of the same, as the selection is quite limited (all available seem to be the same sort of quality). Pleased with my purchase for now at least.

This collar is highly visible and can be cut to size, we lopped off at least a third to fit our chocolate lab. He was totally invisible at night when romping over the fields but we can now see him from a mile away as he is lit up like a Christmas tree. Loads of people have remarked on how bright this collar is and the best bit about it is that it is rechargeable. We only need to recharge it once a week and use the collar morning and evening for approximately an hour to 1.5 hours a day. Much better than constantly replacing batteries, would recommend.

Great product. One small addition would make it five stars: a little plastic tube that you could slide over the On/Off switch to protect it from water splashes (puddles) and rain. Guess it’s okay in light rain but my dog’s collar still gets wet so this illuminated collar would be the same. Risk of damp getting into switch. Otherwise, my dog lit up like a Christmas tree when he’s running in fields and copses. Doesn’t bother him as it’s light and comfortable.I would suggest not using flashing mode as some dogs can have epilepsy.

OMG This is a revelation. Hot Rod the Rottweiler (named after Rod the mod) looks fantastic and being black not so easily seen at night, however, you can see him now for miles, well a bit of an exaggeration but, I cannot express my sheer delight seeing Hot Rod promenading down the Avenue wearing this collar around his neck. And, they are certainly right about the quality, its incredible. I would recommend this to any pet owner.Since writing this review I have been stopped by umpteen number of people asking me about this collar and where I got it from.

Ordered these collars and they arrived the next day. So easy to cut to size for my labrador & cocker spaniel and they are wearing them now. They are excellent!! Great quality and a great price. They are really bright and I would definitely recommend them. My grandaughter now wants one for her 5 year old to wear as before I cut one it easily fitted round his waist & will be extra safety on the school run or anytime in the dark/dusk. Can't praise them enough! Ordered two more 29th Nov 2018 for my neighbours two black labradors .. he is so pleased with them! I have had my two collars for nearly a year now and they are working just as good as new.

It's a little wide for a smaller dog such as my Chihuahua but she still wears it, I just wish It was thinner. However that's a general problem with dog products in general sadly not specific to this collar.The price is a little high but hopefully the life of it is worth it in the long run.You can cut it smaller than the 11.5inch it says is minimum. I cut this to 10inch to fit my Chihuahuas neck and it works perfectly fine!Finally; the cover for the usb charge port is terrible. Doesn't cover it or stay in properly so I fully expect in a month or 2 for this product to die sadly.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I was kindly provided a free review sample of this to try out.The packaging makes it quite clear, but it is an important point to reitreate: this is not a dog collar in the sense that you can attach a lead to it and walk your dog by it. It's purely a decorative item for adding visibility to your dog and should therefore be worn in addition to a proper collar.That said, it's a very nice design. It's a ring of surgical tubing inside of which is the LED strip that can be trimmed to size and the tubing reattached to the end.The collar is USB-rechargeable, and has different light modes of flashing at varying speeds, as well as continuous light.The collar is soft and light and would probably not be felt by your dog at all, but it can make a huge difference to traffic visibility, and could potentially save your dog's life.The only negative thing I would say about it is that the clip for attaching it is unnecessarily hard to operate, and I can hardly see myself being able to get it off with my hands cold after a long walk on a rainy autumn day, for instance. A regular buckle mechanism would have been preferable.

I bought this LED necklace as my dog was distracted by the yellow one I bought to attach to his collar (which also only lasted 5 days before its batteries died!). I was attracted by the fact it's usb rechargable and it was long enough that I could attach to his harness instead of around his neck and distracting him.I have to say, I'm not disappointed at all. The light is bright and clear but not to the point that you are blinded and can't see the road! You have the choice of fast flashing, slow flashing or solid light. It lasts for over a week before it needs recharged (or at least mine does).My one downer on it, as others have said, is the charging point cover.. its flappy, flimsy and I fully expect it break off very soon - and I don't know how long it will last when that happens as we are now into winter and very wet weather...
