works great , make sure to find batteries not protected over protected , you will find them in a vaping store . cost $25 for a pack of 4 . after all , great product .

Works great, auto shut down at 5%, very easy install. I would not recommend buying the 18650 batteries here, most if not all have the protection circuit which is a problem. Just search for “18650 batteries” and you’ll find the really good ‘store’ I’m talking about. I got two sets of batteries one set was a Samsung 20amp, the other a Sanyo 10amp. The Samsung 20 amp batteries will keep the Pi running anywhere from 4-6 hours depending on how much processing you’re doing. Just make sure you blue tape the stock usb-c input on the Pi and use the usb-c that is located on the battery bank.

Great product! Fits the Pi perfectly and built quality is good. I did put a cap over the native USB-C power port on the Pi so as to not accidentally use it, so some kind of color coding on the port would be a nice touch, but otherwise no complaints!

Instructions were a bit confusing but it works. I use it with a 10 inch HMI touchscreen with a 3D enclosure for portable use. The extra USB and 5V out are very hand for fan, audio amp, and other accessories. If I were to do it again, I would get the model with the battery tray next to the Pi instead of underneath.

Okay I ordered this and the x1202-C1 and a NvME hat. The part was delayed and delayed. It is close to 2 months late. It made the project I had intended late and it is very confusing. There is the case, the hat, the pi, the UPS battery pack (this item), and a 12mm momentary switch. ALL are separate items that you have to check and check. I suggest trying other options. This should have been good, but the times and difficulty of everything with it have left a poor feeling for them. So far the product seems to work but evidently you have to be very careful not to put the power to the pi dricetly. It does say this on all the documentation, but in the field if someone comes and has to move it... this will be an issue to someone.

Tip: When looking for batteries for this, you will find that many cells sold for vaping have lower capacity as a tradeoff for higher current. Find a reputable seller of cells, for example, by using recommendations on Reddit, and for highly regarded name brand cells that give you higher capacity in exchange for the lower current load of your application. Many sellers have an Amazon store that can make fulfillment easier.
