Wiring wrong. Otherwise 5 star.
The wiring harness is wrong. When I opened the driver door the passenger steps would drop down and vice-versa. I had to move the orange and white cables. Had to splice them as I couldn't get the pins out. The lights where correct.

Works great
They are great, but they were wired wrong, had to call support to find out what was wrong

Motors were wired backwards from the factory
Nice kit, quality material original impression. Installation went smooth with exception that the motors were wired backwards. Contacted Mfg and the problem was resolved. I had a local garage do installation. Installed a OBD 2 splitter to enable gauge use with steps. Choose not to install puddle lights as I did not want to drill holes in the truck. Works fine so far.

Disappointed
Purchased these for my F-250 after reading reviews. Several reviews stated the steps were wired backwards, but more recent reviews had positive experiences. Based on this I assumed (wrongly) that the issue had been corrected. After install I inserted the fuse opened the door and the steps stayed in the stowed position. Perfect place for $1,700 steps. I closed the door and naturally the steps extended allowing me easy access to my closed door. Needless to say this plug and play system is far from. Now I get to invest more time in these and attempt to correct the issue. When you spend a significant amount of money on a product you expect a certain level of quality, unfortunately this product is severe lacking. #notworththemoney

Exactly what I was looking for
The media could not be loaded. Installation was a breeze on my 15 F250 crew cab.. running boards are out of control, very nice

Like others I had to change wiring at motors
Installation was pretty straight forward. The wiring harness seems off. I did do the LED lights and drilled holes in my truck. I sprayed some clear coat on the holes to help lower the chance of rusting. The drivers side harness fits reasonably well but I would still like a few more inches for slack. The Xtreme version is supposed to be for mud and snow, but I don't like how the wires are pulled away from the body where snow or mud could build up and pull on the wires. I had to switch the wires at the gray motor plug because the ramps did the opposite, open the door and the ramp retracted and close the door and it went out (Use a small pick on a tab at the tip of the plug to release the wires. I had to switch orange from the left to the right side of plug). I also had to add jumper wires 3" for the front and 12" for the back to lengthen the LED power supply wires, but only on the passenger side. AMP Research answered the phone right away (real person, not a robo menu) and talked me through it. Having to rewire the motors and the overall short length of the harness is why I pulled a star.
