This has strong magnets. The plastic box is strong, is closed by 4 tight plastic latches, and is big enough for my Subaru key fob. Check under your car for steel locations for magnets before you order. My car is mostly plastic underneath.

I’ve had this in use for a few months so far. The magnets give a solid grip to metal surfaces. It’s plenty big enough for multiple keys.The plastic clips holding it closed work well and keep out water but I worry they might break off with years of outdoor exposure. In the first few months they are still holding up perfectly however.

Nice size and padded inside, too. The magnets work really well. Worth the buy!

these boxes are made of very good quality materials and are waterproof. the magnets on them are stronger than what i expected and will hold a big key fob with no problem. if i have to buy again i will definitely purchase more of these!!

Strong magnets they don’t pull off easy you have to give it a nice tug which is what you want when you have a $150 spare key attached to your frame. Good buy, if you’re worried about how strong the magnets are don’t be.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the plastic "hinge" pieces on the lid. The box is very sturdy and water tight. The hinges seem weak and seem like repeated opening and closing will wear them out quickly. I am using this to hid a key fob in the underbelly of my truck. The magnets are super strong and I am not worried about it coming loose when I drive.

This is overall well made. The magnets are very strong so as long as the surface you put it on is flat and clean it really sticks. It of course has to be a metal surface.

This item is perfect for me. It hold the fob and a spare key. The closures, on all sides, are and water tight. The magnets are excellent. Due to dirt i put mine in a baggie or wrap it in plastic wrap, to keep it clean, before attaching it the underside of the vehicle. One of my vehicles is a problem finding a place to attach it because the vehicle has so much plastic. Excellent value for your money.
