Origen Cacao Putumayo Ceremonial Cacao

I've loved this cacao since I discovered it almost four years ago. It is rich, high quality and wonderful for ceremonial use or daily drinking. I noticed some poor reviews because it arrived hard. I have noticed that when I travel with it on a long road trip it is prone to melting (and then solidifying) . I imagine that's what happened to these customers. So it does benefit from being kept in cool stable temps.

We received this thinking it would be a powder but instead it was a solid brick of chocolate with mold on the inside of the bag. Very disappointing. To make matters worse, this item isn’t returnable - I’m requesting a refund but I’m seriously upset that not only do I not have my product but I don’t know if I get money back.

Some people say their cacao came in a hard brick. Mine was well packaged in a bag in a box. The cacao was shaved into small pieces for easy use. Blended well in water and milk with a frother. Tasted really good with honey and a bit of cayenne pepper. Seems pure.

Absolutely delicious, dissolves super well when whisking in a pan, rich flavor.
