A+ Ultra Packable Waterproof Windbreaker
For sizing, I'm a 36" bust, 29.5" waist. I bought the small in green in August 2020. I wanted a packable shell for my go-bag. Fit is perfect around my waist. A tiny bit baggy around the bust, but still really flattering. I feel like sleeves are a tad long, but Velcroed tight, it looks fine.In November 2020, I bought a medium in moon gray to use on my daily power walks. Color is on the lavender side of gray. It's fit is just a little bigger than the small, with enough space for a thick fleece jacket layer underneath.Reviews are what helped me make the purchase, so I'd like to share my experience as I think it would be helpful. I've seen reviews of people who were wet after using the jacket in the rain, so I'm including my experience with that also. While wearing the jacket, the packable hood is super easy to unfurl, and just as easy to roll back into the collar. Our Northern New England winter has already begun, so I've been able to test using this as a windbreaker shell. I've been able to go out in windy 14 degrees with a thin base layer and a thick fleece hoodie underneath this jacket, and been warm enough. I actually get a little overheated half way through the walk, but unzipping the pockets (which are its "vents") and the main zipper does help cool me down. One warning! Because it traps body heat so well, it also traps moisture! I have one picture of the inside of the back of jacket after a walk. Needless to say this is not a breathable Gore-tex jacket, so it's to be expected. When I tried the first jacket on in the summer, it did start to get sticky wearing it on my bare skin, so if you live in a warmer climate, this feature might get annoying. As for waterproofness, I've been out in the pouring rain a few times and come home dry -except if I've been sweating. The rain water just beads up on the jacket. Being that it wicks my sweat on the interior, I decided to performed a test in the shower to be sure about its waterproofness. After about 5 minutes of showering my arm, you can see that indeed the inside of my sleeve is bone dry. This jacket is very packable. You'll find in one of the hand pockets, there's a double zipper. Turn that pocket inside out, and feed the jacket body into the pocket/sack. Zips shut. You can search the web to find a video showing it, but it's very easy and quick to do. The packed-down size is 5"h x 9"w, and as flat as an inch thick.

Review for Fit
This little rain jacket is exactly what I was looking for to replace an LL Bean one much like it that was lost during travel. I’m writing to share my experience with the fit. First, I generally find that when I am buying on amazon and there are multiple colors of a clothing item available for something, they often fit differently. So to clarify, I got the black cherry color. It’s gorgeous and I highly recommend. I’m 5’4” and 120 pounds with a 36B bust. I bring the Bust up bc that is where I had issues. Actually ended up exchanging for a Medium bc I wanted to be able to wear a suit jacket/sweatshirt under it when commuting. The small fit well everywhere else, but was quite tight around the bust, and frankly, I’m not very busty so that was surprising. I could not have layered anything under the jacket when wearing a small. While the arms on the medium are a little long, you can adjust the wrists with Velcro so they don’t slouch over your hand....Just writing this review for those looking for some validation on sizing. Not lined, lightweight, doesn’t breathe well like most waterproof jackets don’t so that didn’t bother me, good quality. If you’re looking for something for very chilly weather this is not it. I wore it once in rain - it is waterproof. Again, I think the color and manufacturer matters as far as fit consistency. Hope this helps someone!! I give it 5 stars.

Performs perfectly!!
Purchased this as a lightweight item for a recent trip to southern Europe in February. This rain jacket was incredible. We had one day of significant downpour and it kept me completely dry! I really liked the simple way the hood cinched and stayed in place, and the small visor on the hood worked really well. On other days we experienced wind and fluctuating temperatures. This jacket served as a great final layer to help stop colder winds. The jacket folds up into itself - part of the mesh lining on the back of a pocket. It was easy to stuff into my day bag or to tie to anything. Best purchase in a long time and I expect will serve me well for years.

Great price, perfect for running in the rain, sizing feels a bit off
I love the color and the lightweight feel of this jacket. I wanted something with a hood for when I go running in the California rain—it usually isn’t too cold so I don’t need warmth, just waterproof. The sizing feels a bit off to me. I ordered size small, and it feels a little smaller than I would want (slightly tight across the chest and a shorter overall length), but the sleeves are long. I’m 5’5”, 132 lbs, usually a small. A medium might be better, but the sleeves would be even longer, so I think I’ll stick with the small.UPDATE to say this is definitely not a waterproof jacket. Maybe for 5 minutes of sprinkling, but otherwise it soaks through and either sticks to my skin or gets my clothes wet underneath.

This jacket is a beautiful color and cut.
This Columbia jacket is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a lightweight windbreaker. The color is gorgeous and the styling accentuates the female figure. The hood tucks away when not in use instead of hanging out all the time. It has 4 large pockets, 2 inside and 2 outside. The material is strong and stitching looks very good. I'd buy another anytime.

Rain Resistant Only
The choice of colors is nice. If you want to wear bulky clothes (sweaters, sweatshirts, or a small jacket) under this jacket then buy one size up. HOWEVER, this jacket is more of a wind breaker than a rain jacket. It is suitable for a light to moderate rain fall only. Heavy downpours will soak through the jacket material after about10 minutes exposure. It is indeed unfortunate that this Columbia (?) item is being advertised as "rainproof" as this is false advertising in my opinion. What test is used to determine its waterproof properties? If it really is a Columbia jacket then shame on Columbia but if it is a knockoff then buyer beware.

Color y talla correcta.
Colores muy firmes. La tela es muy delgada, no trae forro pero la calidad es muy buena. Columbia nunca me decepciona.Pedí talla 2xl y me quedo un poco grande, no es queja... Puedo usarla como última capa.
