Build and install was a breeze. Fit my small and extra large mountain bikes with 29 in wheels in my Malone aero bars. Very sturdy and a great cheaper alternative.

The bike rack works great and is very easy to operate. I use it on my pickup and it’s convenient to have the adjustable tilt feature so that I can open the tailgate when needed or to fold away the rack when I’m not using it. The hitch adapter tightens really well and there is no wiggle when mounted. The 2 arm locking makes it much easier to load and unload the bike. Both wheels drop into the arms and holds the bike in place while I tighten down the arms. Once it’s locked it, the bike seems to be in place really well. Highly recommend this to anyone as it feels to be a heavy duty rack at a fraction of the price of other brands.

This is one heavy bike rack! 40+ pounds unloaded. I definitely needed a helper during its assembly. The assembly instructions are "IKEA style" pictures without words, but easy enough to follow. They DID include the necessary tools. They also included a cable lock for securing the bikes to the rack. The rack also locks to the 2" receiver of the hitch. Once the rack is mounted to the hitch, there is a hex screw you tighten to further secure it to the hitch. They recommend keeping the allen wrench and socket wrench in the vehicle which makes sense to me. You need the allen wrench to remove the rack from the hitch as well as tighten it initially. Once mounted to the hitch, putting bikes on the rack is easy-peasy. A video of the assembly and use would be a plus. As would a key registry for the hitch lock and cable lock for keys that eventually go missing. (2 of each key are provided.) I look forward to getting a great deal of use out of this.

While the instructions state an exact measurment for the cross members, there is some wiggle room. I've had these setup on my Pacifica all summer. They are a bit hard to get cranked down so the bikes aren't wiggling around while driving. I do wish they folded more flat, but they are pretty slim. They are heavy when fully assembled, but they are sturdy. Being installed for months now, and there is just tiny bit of rust, mostly where the racks have been dinged. Overall a good product and I'll get several years out of them.

1-star for installation issues and failure; never got it fully attached to the roof rails, so can't comment about performance. Returned the product. Three issues with parts/installation: (1) One of the bolts had defective threading and could not accept the lock nut; a quick trip to the hardware store to get a replacement. (2) The parts list indicates 10 wing nuts are required, and they were included; however, these nuts are included in 4 steps of the instructions which require a total of 14 nuts, not 10. (3) The killer: one of the two ways the rack is attached to the roof rails is via 4 u-bolts in which the threaded tips are designed to stick up to pass through the rack and be secured. These bolts fit perfectly around the roof rails, but did not align with the holes in the bike rack, making it impossible to complete the installation. At least I didn't have to pay return shipping and should get a full refund.

This bike rack is amazing. It does great carrying our E-bikes. Very easy to use. One person can attach it to the truck.

This bike rack was easy to assemble. It holds bikes securely, and while they might feel a little loose, it definitely does the job. Very happy with it!

The roof rack took a little time to figure out how to install but wasn't really that difficult. The threads on one bolt were a problem but were able to get it to work with vice grips. I have a an e- bike which is heavier than they recommended but didn't have any problems.
