Inexpensive memory upgrade for older computer
You can't find this product in a brick and mortar store. It's actually amazing to me that you can find it anywhere, let alone at such a low price. I don't imagine that these cards are even manufactured any more. Amazingly, these cards are available at less than ten dollars each including S&H.I bought two of these for an old computer and have had no problems. The product came about a week earlier than promised, and it runs fine. I ran a memory test to make sure they were OK. All the tests passed with no errors found. My Linux OS now has spare memory. These chips are for older computers, like those that came with floppy disks. Make sure that your computer takes the 168 pin PC100 or PC133 product and that it can handle at most a 256MB chip. If your computer can take the larger memory card, you should get the bigger card. I'm pretty sure all PC133 cards can run at 100MHz as well as 133Mhz, so that shouldn't be an issue.Note that the S&H is more than the cost of the chip. Either make sure that this product is the one you want, or be willing to risk getting something you can't use. There doesn't seem to be much point in returning it if it's not what your computer can use.

Excellent Buy and Solid Results
The memory arrived VERY quickly and easily fit the extra memory slot of an old 256MB HP Vectra that had been limited (by a stroke of amazing HP engineering) to a total of 512MB. Antivirus programs had been making the computer unusable for up to the 15 minutes after booting that it took to load and install updates. Now the desktop is responsive within 15 to 20 seconds after it appears. What had been a slow and barely single tasking XP machine became a passable web browser and word processor. The video refreshes and scroll rates of web pages are very fluid and smooth. An antique that was headed for the recycle bin was restored to full use.Great improvement for ten bucks!

Great price on a great product
I wish these could have been gotten with free shipping, that cost was more than the product cost. Even with the shipping costs added, the price for this memory was lower than I could find elsewhere. I got the stick in the mail, well packaged inside a static free plastic sleeve, inside a bubblewrap ball. I looked at the contacts and could find no scratches- it looked to be new. I popped this onto my computer motherboard, cranked it up and I was going in seconds. My older computer actually uses PC100 memory, but the PC133 memory will work just fine (but it will operate at the slower speed). I just finished installing a new OS, now my old computer is ready to go a few more years.

Works correctly in circa 2001 HP xt919 desktop computer for which maximum RAM is 512 MB (two slots)
I bought this 256 MB card to replace the original HP 128 MB card in my circa 2001 HP Pavilion XT919 desktop PC that originally had only 128 MB. I had increased its memory to 384 MB many years ago, using an official HP card. This new card was so inexpensive that I decided to fill up both slots to maximum capacity and achieve 512 MB. The result was fine. I used full anti-static precautions when installing the card. The additional 128 MB in the machine allows Microsoft XP service pack 3 to operate with more margin. My BIOS is set to do a full memory test every time the machine is booted. The memory always passes the BIOS test after tens of hours of operation and after scores of boots after installation some weeks ago.

Had a problem
The memory came in a day before the ship to date. The issue I had was that is was said to be a match for the Dell unit I was working on. When I installed the memory the computer booted up with a windows\system folder missing. I installed the orig memory and the computer booted up fine. Computer was on the most current bios for the motherboard. Tried to research it but could not find a answer.

Right Specs, Wrong Card.
All of the specs were correct with this RAM card, but it looked different (it was smaller) than the one in the picture. Also, it was not being recognized by the PC and it was very tight-fitting.

Great stick of budget ram
This is a great stick of ram for a great price. It is nice to be able to upgrade older computers for this low of a price.Recommended for: People looking to add more memory to older machines. Just make sure that this ram is compatible with your motherboard first.

Does not even fit
I ordered 168-PIN SDRAM after I received the product when I tried to replace with my current installed 168 pin SD ram. This ram is half the size of my original ram. Does not even fit in memory slot. Product is not what it is in the picture.
