Beautifully illustrated and an amazing read. Was ideal for our night before Eid. Kids loved it.

Lovely book, made from good quality paper. Good story, although slightly long for my 3yr old. Would recommend to add to your little ones Islamic library.

Lovely Ramadan book. My children often refer to it when they sight the moon.

It's beautifully illustrated. The text is detailed, enough to hold the attention of 5+. And the pictures for those younger.The story explains Ramadan, the rituals, the celebration and the worship as well as the role and importance of the moon. It's a great way to introduce kids to Ramadan.What I loved most, was the way the author explained Ramadan and the multicultural representation of people in the pictures. It's something I didn't have as a kid, but I'm so happy that I have it for my children.Would highly recommend!

While the book is beautifully presented and i appreciate that the author is trying to present Ramadan to Muslims and a wider audience, for me this story gives the wrong message about Ramadan entirely."It was a time filled with delicious foods, new clothes, lots of parties....." This is surely a description of Eid, not Ramadan!!!For observant Muslims, Ramadan is a time of abstaining and reflection and we try to instill this in our children. Eid is the reward for the hard work that comes at the end of the month. This book presents Ramadan as a month of parties and excessive eating. While this excess does happen during the holy month, this behaviour is in contradiction to the whole point of Ramadan. I was very disappointed when i read this with my daughter and didn't bother finishing it in spite of the pretty pictures.
