Great Post Surgery Recovery Shirt & COMFORTABLE!!
I bought this shirt for my mom after having a double mastectomy. This shirt is nice & comfortable fits perfectly & very reasonably priced! She loved the pretty purple color & it was very easy to use we were able to put her two drains from surgery she had on each side in the pockets so that she didn’t have them hanging! Highly recommend this product!

The small things make a big difference during tough times
I purchased this mastectomy shirt for my wife while she was going through cancer treatment, and it made such a difference. The design is thoughtful and practical — easy to put on, gentle on sensitive areas, and made her feel much more comfortable during a very tough time. The material is soft, breathable, and lightweight, which was exactly what she needed post-surgery. The pockets for drains were a huge help and made day-to-day life just a little bit easier. We are so grateful for products like this that provide comfort when it’s needed most. Highly recommend for anyone looking to support a loved one through recovery.

Great recovery shirt
This mastectomy shirt was exactly what I needed after surgery—super soft, easy to put on, and the drain pockets were secure. I used this shirt at night and had no issues with drains slipping. Fit is slightly loose, which was ideal for my needs; I ordered true to size. It made recovery so much more comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone going through this.

Unlike other reviews, mine top is quality! Pockets are great, nice top! Arms are not loose.
I read reviews before I buy anything on Amazon. In some reviews, I read that this p.j. top is "poor quality" but I bought it anyway and mine is great! In most of those reviews, the buyer stated that after a single washing the seams came apart. Mine has been washed 6-7 times in 2 weeks (I didn't buy a lot of new things for post-surgery so I wear it at night and often during the day) and it hasn't had any problems at all! All seams are sturdy here! (see photos.) Another thing I like about it is, post-surgery I am not wearing a bra and this top is thick enough to prevent embarrassing "nipple-poke" with my teenage son in the house (sorry if that's TMI.) I love the color, I love the fabric, and I love the pockets inside for my drains! I only have one complaint: I would hope the armholes would be looser on an XL. They are not tight, but there is no slack on my arms (my relaxed bicep measures 13" around. So, I don't have small arms, nor huge arms.) The rest is roomy, which I wanted (I normally wear an L but wanted the top extra big for comfort.) The trunk/body of the P.J. top is roomy as I wanted, and even roomy through the shoulders. It's only the band that crosses my biceps that fits with no extra slack. My recommendation: a great buy as long as you don't have particularly large arms! At this point, I wish I had bought one more in another because I wear and wash this one so often. Also, I DO see myself using this past the surgery recovery period. It's comfortable enough for non-surgery times ahead! So that's an unplanned bonus!

It works, but could be better.
Although I found this top helpful after my double mastectomy, I realized it wasn't really made from the perspective of someone who had actual need for it. For the price and the fact that I only needed it for 7 days, it was good for me. Below are my pros and cons, from an actual patient perspective:PROS:- it is soft and didn't irritate my skin- the pockets were a good size and the fact that there are 2 on each side allows for flexibility on where the drains are placed, helpful for comfort- the pockets are deep enough that the entire bulb and some of the tubing completely fit inside so it didn't have contact with my skinCONS- I washed this top 5 times in the week that I had it, and it is already falling apart (the batting in tearing away)- there are thick hard seems in the arm pits. This is the worst design flaw since most people who have a mastectomy have lots of pain and soreness in the armpit area, so this was extremely uncomfortable for me.- the material that this is made of is not breathable and made life a little uncomfortable due to my chemo induced hurt flashes. So, would I buy this again, probably not. But I'm glad I had it for the short time I needed it. Overall, it was more helpful than annoying. If I needed it for more that a week though, I'm not sure it would have made it.

Worth buying.
I got this for my hospital stay after lung surgery. The little inside pocket is great for the monitor. It was also very soft and comfortable.

Nice pajama style top, but sleeves are snug
We purchased this top for our mother's post mastectomy clothes. The top is made of a soft, machine washable fabric and the style and color are attractive. It has an inside pocket for the drain tube. It looks like a pajama shirt. Prior to surgery the sleeves were snug, and the buttons required the use of both hands. Being concerned about possible lymphedema, we decided to return the shirt prior to surgery.
