We have other train whistles, so the fact that the whistle didn’t work AT ALL didn’t really bother me. I actually got the hat as part of a conductor costume for a murder mystery night. The hat was fine. If it comes a little smooshed, just put it on an upside down bowl for a couple days.

The reviews seemed a little mixed, so I wasn’t sure about this product... but it is going to be perfect for what we are using it for. My son’s Halloween costume this year is actually Dogman. (So nothing to do with a conductor lol) While we didn’t need the whistle, the kids are still enjoying using it. Not the best train whistle available but it does work. Anyway, my son is 6 and this hat fits him. I ordered this over a few other options, because I could get it faster (and it was in stock)!

Bought for my husband and it was smaller than expected. Looked at the other amazon hats and they seemed as small so we cut a slit in the back to make it fit.

I bought this as a Halloween outfit. The pictures had children, but when received, the hat was far too large fitting me as an adult, not my toddler.Also, the train whistle was not properly cut. There were no holes to blow into because they didn't fully cut them out. There were just a couple marks where they started, but didn't cut all the way through.Although the hat was durable and the whistle made of wood, this was not useable.

Good quality hat and whistle however I am not a fan of the texture of the wood whistle.

Whistle barely whistles. Hat is a fixed size for a small adult or large child.

We used this hat to make our son a Dogman costume! The hat worked great and really helped us tie the look together! It was made of soft material and my son said it was comfortable to wear! The whistle is made of wood and appeared to be held together with wood glue? and it didn't make a whistle sound and broke same day we opened it! Hat is great though!

We bought this hat and whistle so my husband could wear them for my son’s train themed birthday party, and they did not disappoint. Very good quality and the whistle was in good working order. He was the hit of the party (aside from my son of course!)
