Very impressive - much needed assistance with grip and wrist support when weight lifting.
I go to the Gym 3x week and working through set programmes for Chest/Biceps, Triceps/Back and Legs/Deadlifts. I am now at the stage where the weight is starting to effect my grip/wrist strength.Having previously used 'normal' weight lifting gloves I was looking for something that had added wrist protection, but that could also increase my grip on the bar/dumbells. I found these and read the positive reviews on the product, duly impressed, I ordered them on Friday evening (7 April) and they were delivered to a local Amazon locker (in itself an amazing invention - especially if you are out all day and/or have a dog!) Sunday 9th.An email arrived today with instructions on how to use and care for the - as promised.I have used them today for the first time for a Chest/Bicep session and was hugely impressed. The rubber allows you to grip much more than standard gloves, giving you confidence (together with the fairly hardcore wrist straps) that your grip/wrist will not fail and allowing you to concentrate on your form and reps - essential when you are increasing weight on your barbell without a spotter!Had to adjust my grip occasionally because the rubber was 'rubbing' on my palms, but think this is for 2 reasons - 1) I have 'professionals' hands as I always wear gloves for lifting/carrying anything heavy (garden/etc.) and 2) the rubber needs time to mould and soften slightly, which I have no doubt it will do (either that or my wussy hands will simply get used to it!).Certainly recommend - be interesting to see what 'lifetime' guarantee means, but very impressed so far.

Don't let your grip hold you back
Good quality grips at a nice price. I've used them only for deadlifts so far but am very satisfied, they give the confidence to lift to your max knowing your grip won't give up before your strength does. I prefer this style of grip to the classic straps and definitely prefer these to the ones with little hooks on. The hooked ones don't fill me with confidence at all.One thing I would say is that the velco straps to tighten them to your wrist are not extremely long. They just about fit me but anyone with really thick wrists should take that into consideration. Also, they will take a few weeks to get worn in a bit so don't be put off by hw rigid they are to begin with.

A well-crafted, quality pair of lifting straps that will undoubtedly improve your grip.
Having trained previously in my younger years (many moons ago!) I have recently returned to the gym in my “twilight” years in an attempt to regain some of my former glory. Getting back up on the horse has been quite the task, none more so than dealing with arthritis in both my hands and wrists. So I decided it was time to invest in some sort of suitable lifting aids that you see the younger generation using now and my son is always raving about these “Power Grips”, so I took his advice and purchased myself a pair.Upon receiving the product, I was very impressed at how well packaged it was; a small neat zip lock bag with the branded logo that can be used to pack them inside when taking them to the gym. I will say these Power Grips look quite impressive – well-crafted and stitched, a very malleable and durable grip and definitely suitable for taking some tough treatment and shifting a lot of weight. The fit seemed perfect when I strapped them up and attempted my first workout with them, but unfortunately there was no real difference to the wrist pain I had been experiencing. Don’t get me wrong, the wrist strap supports very well but if you have some sort of wrist injury, these might not be the answer. But then again I was quite naïve to think this could make my wrist problem disappear, it’s probably something that I have to accept will hinder the level of my weight lifting intensity. But if you’re considering investing in a pair, I still would recommend these based on their premium factor and because they’re exactly as described and very well manufactured. Maybe 3 stars is a bit harsh; it was wishful thinking that they’d cure these old wrists – they have been laying bricks for over 40 years now!
