I do suffer from interrupted sleep so I was curious to give this a try. Worst case scenario, I had a yoga and mouse mat. The mats are good quality and I'm using the mouse mat as it's a decent size on my desk, feels comfortable under my wrists and gives me plenty of room to use my mouse without it dropping off the pad. Has it resolved my sleep issue, I don't think so, I still wake up infrequently, maybe it's more to do with my age than anything else. All I can say is that these are made from decent materials, spill proof and look good.
