I bought these water hiking shoes for a trip to Zion where we would be hiking in 40-degree ankle deep water for a portion of a hike. I needed something that would have good grip for hiking up steep, sandy, rocky trails, but also drain the water quickly, as I did not want to be walking back the 2-mile dry portion of the trail in wet, soppy shoes. These shoes were the perfect combination of both. I could wear them with or without socks and they fit comfortably. Without socks I could tighten up the elastic drawstring laces so that the shoes would not slip while walking in the water. The drain holes in the bottom and the design of the inserts allowed for quick drainage. Although my feet were damp for the remainder of the hike, I was not sloshing in the shoes. When we got back to town, I se them in the sun and within 30-45 minutes, they were completely dry through and through. I highly recommend these "amphibious" shoes for anyone who is doing activities in/out of the water. They're comfortable, lightweight, and much more affordable than some of the other brands.

After reading the reviews I ordered a half size up, three pairs a Men's 10 and women's 7 and women's 8.5. They ended up being a half size too big on all three. I kind of wish we would have ordered our normal sizes but we can make these work because the laces actually tighten really well. I bought these to take these hiking and tubing in Belize I think they will fit the bill. I will say that I have plantar fasciitis and I will have to ad my inserts, the arch support just isn't high enough. ( I think I will have this problem with almost any shoe). My kids love them and have worn them around for 2 days. The only real negative is the laces, they seem like they will break fairly easily but I can't say for sure.

I buy this shoes because every time I go back home Long Island (The Bahamas) I always loose my shoe on the sea rock, I was tied of keep buy shoes over and over. My first day I wear these I went fishing in the boat with my brothers, comfortable and light. The next day I went fishing on the sea rock with my sister. I did every thing in these shoes, hike, walk on the rock, sand and in the mud and had no problem with these shoe, I love them. Looking forward to buying another pair. True to it's size and color.

This is my second pair of this brand of shoes and I have been extremely happy with them. My first pair can be worn with jeans for around-town but I primarily use them for water aerobics, I needed the extra support that these shoes provide. First pair are still in great condition after a couple of semesters in chlorine pool. Ordered a second pair for backup. I took one-half size smaller than street shoes. Second pair fit just like the first pair. I think they're cute shoes and hope they come out with some other colors. I'm a fan.

Great and pretty water shoes! Be sure to order a half a size smaller because they run big.
