Add ice and water for a knee wrap & more. Stays cold a long time. Simple and versatile use.
Ok, I did initially think this was odd because it reminded me of the old hot water bottles a little. But instead of the usual cold pack you add your own ice and water and it does work. It’s a little more work to have the ice on hand and load it but it stays cold longer than any freezer packs. Which also means if you need to use for both knees or another body part, you can do it consecutively, probably without need for a refill. Includes a zip lock plastic bag for handy storage. It’s well made, simple to use and the elastic straps stretch and adhere well. It covers a large area. Fairly comfortable to wear and it’s very cold even thru clothing. It’s a little bulky but not much. No leaks so far even if the top is not facing upwards but there isn’t much liquid to leak in the time I use it. The only annoying thing is that it takes hours to dry out before you can put it away unless you constantly shake out the remaining water.Says to fill with ice about 2/3 full. I used about 2 1/2 cups of the half moon sized cubes from our ice maker and then added maybe a 1/2 cup of water and that worked well for me.It is as described, works as described and is multi use/versatile as well.

No more baggies filled with ice!
With the addition of this NEWGO Knee Ice Pack Wrap Ice Pack, I'm happy to report that no one in this house will have to ice their knee with a baggie full of ice anymore! I honestly wish I'd known about this product years ago because it would have saved so much time and effort refilling and cleaning up after leaky baggies, not to mention that this device can be worn while moving around vs. having to lay still while icing. The adjustable velcro straps allow it to fit everyone in our household, from skinny legs to kind of chunky legs. The pouch that holds ice has a decent sized hold making filling it up easy, and while I haven't measured exactly, I feel like it can hold about 1-3 cups of water and ice cubes, though you don't need to fill it all the way up to be effective. The directions say to use 2 or 3 ice cubes and then to add cold water, but I have small ice cubes so I use about 1/2 cup and then add cold water from the fridge and its just right. The inner fabric that goes up against the skin allows the iced water to do its thing without making the area so cold that its uncomfortable. It comes with a food grade ziplock bag to store it in if you choose to put it in the refrigerator or freezer but it doesn't need to be stored in the cold to be effective.

Great Concept But Seal Leaks
The design for usage of this product is great. Unfortunately we purchased two of these and during the first usage of each - the liquid leaked through the seals - making them unusable. I was able to return the first purchase for a replacement - but no option to return the second.

Cooling Relief with CAUTION – The Big Dawg Review, A Must-Read Review.
I recently acquired the NEWGO Ice Pack for Knee, eager to find relief for my military service-related knee injury discomfort. The product lived up to its description and advertisement, fitting comfortably and securely due to its hook and pile system, and its one-size-fits-all design made donning it a breeze. However, despite its well-manufactured construction, I discovered a potential issue—the underside material is too thin, which could potentially cause injury from excessive cold exposure to the skin. Unfortunately, I couldn't use it for more than a few minutes without discomfort. To remedy this, I found that wearing a compression sleeve underneath provided the necessary protection while still benefiting from the ice pack's therapeutic effects. Additionally, the ice pack proved to be quite bulky once filled with ice. Despite these setbacks, the product offers good value for the money, and I appreciated the excellent packaging included for storage after use.The Big Dawg Rating:Shipping/Packaging: 5/5Design/Overall Finish/Color Selection/Presentation: 4.45/5Overall Quality: 4.5/5Performance: 2/5Ease of Use/Ergonomics: 4.5/5Value for Money/Fair Price: 4/5Innovation: 4.5/5Environmental Impact: 4/5Features: 4.75/5Total Overall Average Score: 4.13/5Cultivating and experiencing items to provide insight. Just add ice!
This is a pretty easy to use ice pack. Dont confuse this with a gel filled ice pack which you simply put in the freezer and take out when you need it. You just add some ice and water to the pouch and it's instantly cold. What's really nice about that is you dont use it for 15 minutes until it warms up, then have to put it in the freezer again for a few hours like a normal gel pack. Instead, you can just dump out the old water and put in nice frozen ice and its good to go again. It does get cold, so you may need to wear a thin pant or compression type protector on your knee to keep the cold from being too intense if you do use it long term.
