Yet another well written story that keeps the reader's interest throughout with lots of twists and unexpected turns leading to an unexpected perpetrator at near the end which leads to another unexpected twist. A book I could not put down until the end

Loving this series so much so that I have read them all one after the other! Now I’ve got to wait for the next one. The characters are great & the storylines compelling making you want to keep reading. One thing though they always finish on a bit of a cliffhanger!! Would highly recommend.

Another great book from Simon. I have really enjoyed every book in this series. A brilliant plot with unexpected twists. I cannot wait for book 19 after that cliff hanger ending so I hope it won't be too long before it's available

I really like this series of books but I think the author is running out of ideas. Kidnapping is now a regular theme and so much relies on tech.I also think a better proof reader is needed. There are several spelling errors in the book - seeds and wild oats are sown, not sewn, and steam doesn't scold, it scalds. And in the final chapters dawn suddenly becomes 5.20 pm.... While some might find this petty, to me it's just careless.However, overall it's a good book and I'd recommend it.

Another great episode in this fabulous series. I especially loved the setting, Chester, which holds lots of precious memories in my heart.

I have read every one of these since the beginning and I have to say the writing and editing have gotten sloppier over time. These are well plotted; I love the characters, but I dont think an editor has spent much time on this book. Extra phrases, endless asides, and do w really need someone to tell us what MO means? A bit disappointed that this fine writer seems to be churning books out rather than taking his time.

Once again Simon McCleave has come up with a winner. Twists and turns a plenty. Fantastic characters. Looking forward to the next one.
