Love this book and the very honest life stories shared!

Law Moms: Juggling Motherhood, Ambition & Personal Fulfillment is a beautiful book filled with raw and authentic stories of the real-life challenges and successes of being a mother in the legal profession. Although undoubtedly relatable to lawyers who are mothers, I was struck by how connected I felt reading it even though I am neither a mother nor a practicing attorney. In particular, Sarah Soucie Eyberg’s Chapter, The Final Straw, passionately shares about her journey navigating motherhood and sobriety as a lawyer in a way that will leave you feeling seen and heard as a member of this profession. This book is for everyone, regardless of whether you are a lawyer or a mother!

Law Moms offers a sincere and gripping glimpse into the often hectic yet frequently joyous lives of the brave mothers-in-law. Hats off to these tenacious trailblazers who forged the lesser paths! And, Two Thumbs Up for sharing their unique voices and stories in Law Moms! An at once entertaining and sometimes challenging read that is sure to inspire any woman in your life (maybe even your mother-in-law!). A job well done. Kudos!

I’ve been struggling with balancing being a new ish mom, family losses, parents who both need care (Parkinson’s and mental heath), and being a perfectionist in work and organizations I am in. At times, I’ve felt so alone, guilty for the imperfections, and that I am doing it all wrong despite having a wonderfully supportive partner. Reading the experiences of my amazing colleagues in this book helped me through some more recent, additional, difficulties and give myself some grace and patience. I highly recommend! Law Moms are amazing.

I have to admit, I binged this book in one evening. The author's voices and stories were each different and inspiring, and also so relatable. Women are driven in so many ways, and moms who set out to work in careers face different versions of the same life stressors and work through them in various ways. This is so validating! Even if you are not a mom working in law, I still recommend reading this book!
